A Weekly Astrological Look Ahead with Soul-Work Journal Prompts, Healing Opportunities, as well as Actionable Steps to Work with the Energy.

Hey Soul Seekers,
I hope your weekend held space for creativity, rest, or whatever your spirit needed.
The Astrology for May 25th-31st is layered—full of choice points, shadow work, and a somewhat rare cosmic event. We have Mars sextile the North Node, gently nudging us toward steady growth, and the Sun squaring the Nodes of Fate, placing us at a crossroads between what’s familiar and what’s expanding. Mars squares Pluto Rx—excellent energy for shadow work if you’re willing to get curious before you get reactive. The Sun trines Pluto Rx, helping us articulate what we discover beneath the surface. Venus squares Saturn, a tender reminder that we are responsible for filling our own cup—no one else can do it for us.
And then, to tie up the week: we have a Sagittarius Blue Moon—the second Full Moon in a single month, an event that only happens every 2–3 years. Amplified by a Mutable Grand Cross and an active Yod, this Full Moon is a doorway. It asks us to release perfectionism, over-analysis, and the fear of not being ready. It invites us to trust, expand, and step into a new chapter of belief and becoming. Mercury sextile Chiron supports this with healing through curiosity and courageous self-expression.
This week is about choices. You are standing at a threshold. What you release and what you lean into matters—not because you have to get it right, but because growth happens in the choosing.
If you’re in the United States, I also want to pause for a moment of silence and honor those who have served selflessly and sacrificed everything. Regardless of political stance, we can come together in remembrance of the fallen troops who gave their all for this country. Their bravery will never be forgotten.
Let’s walk through this week with open hearts, curious minds, and the willingness to grow—even when it’s uncomfortable.
As a friendly reminder, with Saturn, Neptune and all the energy piling up in Aries, time may feel like it’s moving faster or scattered, so focus on joy, purpose, personal development, and what truly nourishes you. I’m writing a more streamlined format for a bit, as I balance a fuller workload; I appreciate your patience and support as I temporarily pause any new consultations to honor my current commitments.

Astrological Breakdown for the Week
The Astrology for May 25th – 31st
Welcome to a week that asks us to stand at the edge of who we’ve been and choose who we’re becoming. It begins with a fated crossroads—Mars sextile the North Node while the Sun squares the Nodes, nudging us toward trust, patience, and the courage to take shaky steps into the unfamiliar. Imposter syndrome may whisper that we’re not ready, but growth doesn’t wait for readiness—it asks for willingness. Tuesday brings psychological depth as Mars squares Pluto and the Sun trines Pluto, stirring old fears, control patterns, and identity wounds. This is shadow work territory: get curious, not reactive. Thursday’s Venus-Saturn square reminds us that no one else can fill our cup—self-responsibility is the path through emotional sensitivity. Then Sunday arrives with a rare Sagittarius Blue Moon, amplified by a Mutable Grand Cross and an active Yod, making this a turning point of release, revelation, and expansion. This is a week of tension and tenderness, pressure and possibility.
Monday, May 25th: Mars sextile North Node; Sun square North Node
On Monday, Mars in Taurus forms a sextile to the North Node in Pisces, and just a few hours later the Sun in Gemini squares the Nodes of Fate in Pisces/Virgo—creating a deeply fated day that nudges us toward growth, trust, and conscious evolution. This is one of those days where the universe feels like it’s quietly steering you. Not pushing, not forcing—just guiding. Mars activates the North Node, helping us take steady steps toward our soul’s direction. The Sun square the Nodes brings a choice point: stay in the familiar pattern (South Node) or step into the unknown (North Node). Together, these transits highlight the tension between comfort and growth, fear and faith, hesitation and courage.
The North Node always represents the harder path—not because it’s painful, but because it requires conscious effort. The South Node is what comes naturally: our habits, our coping mechanisms, our talents, and our shadows. We can use the gifts of the South Node, but we’re not meant to live there. Growth happens when we stretch toward the North Node, even if it feels unfamiliar or uncomfortable. Today’s energy highlights that stretch—and with it, the very human experience of imposter syndrome, where we second‑guess ourselves, doubt our abilities, or feel like we’re not “ready enough” to take the next step.
Mars in Taurus is slow, methodical, steady, and consistent. Taurus is fixed earth—it doesn’t rush, it doesn’t force, it doesn’t sprint. It builds. It commits. It endures. Mars doesn’t love this pace, but it learns patience, resilience, and embodied action here. When Mars sextiles the North Node in Pisces, we’re asked to trust the process, have compassion for ourselves, and move forward with faith rather than fear. Pisces teaches surrender. Taurus teaches consistency. Together, they say: You don’t have to move fast—you just have to keep going.
If frustration arises because things aren’t moving as quickly as you hoped, remember: slow and steady truly wins the race. Sometimes going slower helps us adapt to a new routine, a new mindset, or a new way of approaching our goals. Let go of the Virgo South Node’s harsh inner critic—the voice that says you’re not doing enough, not moving fast enough, not producing the results you “should” be. This is also where imposter syndrome can creep in, whispering that you’re not qualified, not capable, or not ready. But that voice is the South Node trying to keep you in the familiar. You are not behind. You are right on time.
Then the Sun in Gemini squares the Nodes, creating a moment of choice. Gemini always presents at least two paths, and the Nodes amplify that duality. Do we fall back into the familiar pattern of overthinking, perfectionism, and self‑criticism (South Node in Virgo)? Or do we choose curiosity, trust, and emotional openness (North Node in Pisces)? Gemini wants to learn. Pisces wants to trust. Virgo wants to control. Today asks: Which voice are you listening to?
This energy is like learning how to swim. You can know the movements. You can understand the technique. But at some point, you have to trust your body to keep you afloat. You have to let go of the edge. You have to believe that your effort and practice is enough. The fear isn’t in the learning—it’s in the moment you decide to trust that learning. That leap of faith is the hardest part. But it’s also the moment that everything changes.
What it feels like: A crossroads. A moment where you sense you’re being asked to choose growth over comfort. A blend of frustration and hope. A desire to move forward but a fear of the unknown. A quiet inner voice saying, “You’re ready,” even if you don’t feel ready. A sense that something is shifting inside you—slowly, steadily, meaningfully. And yes—this can feel like imposter syndrome, where you second‑guess yourself, doubt your abilities, or feel like you’re pretending to know what you’re doing. But that feeling is not a sign to stop—it’s a sign you’re growing and to keep going.
Positive expressions: Steady progress. Trusting the process. Letting go of perfectionism. Taking small but meaningful steps toward your goals. Courage to try something new. A willingness to learn through experience. Emotional, mental, and spiritual growth. A deeper connection to your intuition. Using your South Node talents to support your North Node evolution.
Shadow expressions: Self‑criticism. Impatience. Feeling like you’re not doing enough. Overthinking. Wanting certainty before taking action. Falling back into old habits because they feel safer. Fear of failure. Resistance to trusting your own abilities. Imposter syndrome convincing you that you’re not ready or not capable.
The invitation: Trust yourself. Trust the process. Trust that slow progress is still progress. Let go of the need to know exactly how everything will unfold. Take the step—even if it’s small, even if it’s shaky. Growth doesn’t come from knowing; it comes from trying. This is a day to choose the path that expands you, not the one that keeps you safe. Have the courage to leap, even if you can’t yet see where you’ll land. And when imposter syndrome whispers that you’re not enough—remember: that voice only shows up when you’re standing at the edge of becoming someone new.
Healing Opportunity & Actionable Step:
Taking the Shaky Step Despite Imposter Syndrome
Aligned with Mars sextile North Node (steady growth) and Sun square Nodes (choice point).
Positive Expression: Trusting slow progress, letting go of perfectionism, taking small but meaningful steps toward growth. Courage to try despite not feeling “ready.”
Shadow Expression: Self-criticism, impatience, overthinking, wanting certainty before action, falling back into old habits because they feel safer.
Actionable Step: Take one “Shaky Step.” Identify one action you’ve been avoiding because you don’t feel ready or qualified. Take it today—imperfectly, without preparation. Afterward, journal: “I took the step. The fear was ________. What actually happened was ________. I am becoming someone who chooses to try, even when the fear of failing is loud.”
Tuesday, May 26th: Mars square Pluto Rx; Sun trine Pluto Rx
On Tuesday, Mars in Taurus squares Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, and later the Sun in Gemini forms a trine to Pluto retrograde—creating a powerful day of psychological depth, emotional honesty, and transformative communication. This is not light energy. Mars square Pluto Rx brings us face‑to‑face with our internal fears, control patterns, and the places where we feel threatened, insecure, or stuck. Mars in Taurus wants safety, predictability, and comfort. Pluto retrograde in Aquarius wants truth, liberation, and inner evolution. When these two clash, we’re confronted with the tension between staying in our comfort zone and confronting what actually needs to change.
Mars square Pluto can trigger identity wounds—especially around belonging, worthiness, and how we assert ourselves. Taurus energy wants to feel safe before taking action. Pluto retrograde digs beneath the surface and exposes the deeper emotional material we’ve been avoiding. This can bring up fears of rejection, fears of being misunderstood, or fears of losing control. It can also stir up that imposter syndrome we felt yesterday, where we are internally second‑guessing ourselves, assume we’re doing something wrong, or feel like we’re not “enough” to handle what’s in front of us. But this transit isn’t here to punish—it’s here to reveal. It’s here to help us understand what drives our reactions, our defensiveness, our shutdowns, or our need to retreat.
This is an excellent day for personal shadow work. Pluto being retrograde is internal transformation. It helps us get to the root of the wound, the fear, the story we’ve been carrying. Compassion is essential today. Curiosity is essential today. When something triggers you, pause. Ask yourself: What is this really about? What fear is underneath this reaction? What story am I telling myself? What wounded belief about my identity is this triggering? And especially: Is this actually true, or am I assuming? Can I get curious instead of reacting from this triggered space?
Because later in the day, the Sun in Gemini trines Pluto retrograde—bringing clarity, communication, and perspective to whatever Mars stirred up. The Sun in Gemini gives us two choices: assume or get curious. React or inquire. Shut down or open up. Gemini and Aquarius are both air signs, so this trine supports honest conversations, deeper understanding, and transformative communication. This is the moment where you can talk through what Mars square Pluto brought up—without defensiveness, without assumptions, without jumping to conclusions. Just taking responsibility for how this felt to you.
If someone says something that triggers you, instead of reacting, try reflecting back what you thought they meant. Clarify. Ask questions. Share how it made you feel in a grounded, non‑threatening way. Most of the time, the hurt comes from misunderstanding, not malice. Today is a day where communication can heal, clarify, and transform—if you stay open.
What it feels like: Intense, introspective, emotionally charged. You may feel sensitive, reactive, or easily triggered. You may feel like old wounds are resurfacing. You may second‑guess yourself, feel like you’re “not enough”, or feel threatened. But beneath the discomfort is a powerful opportunity for clarity, healing, and transformation. Later in the day, the energy lightens as the Sun trine Pluto brings understanding, insight, and the ability to articulate what you’re feeling.
Positive expressions: Deep self‑awareness. Transformative conversations. Emotional breakthroughs. Understanding the root of a fear or pattern. Courage to face what you’ve been avoiding. Healing through communication. Increased clarity about your needs and boundaries. A shift in how you respond to triggers.
Shadow expressions: Assuming the worst. Jumping to conclusions. Feeling threatened or defensive. Imposter syndrome. Overreacting to something small. Shutting down instead of communicating. Feeling stuck in old patterns. Misinterpreting someone’s words or tone.
The invitation: Go inward. Get curious. Don’t assume—ask. Don’t react—reflect. Let the discomfort show you where healing is needed. Let the Sun trine Pluto help you articulate what’s going on beneath the surface. Respond with tact, clarity, and compassion. This is a day where communication can transform your inner world—if you’re willing to stay open.
Healing opportunity & Actionable Step:
Getting Curious Before Getting Reactive
Aligned with Mars square Pluto (shadow surfacing) and Sun trine Pluto (transformative communication).
Positive Expression: Deep self-awareness, emotional breakthroughs, courage to face what you’ve been avoiding, healing through honest communication.
Shadow Expression: Assuming the worst, jumping to conclusions, feeling threatened or defensive, overreacting, shutting down instead of communicating.
Actionable Step: Use the “Curiosity Pause.” When you feel triggered or reactive today, pause. Take one breath. Ask: “What am I assuming right now? What else might be true in this moment?” Then ask the other person: “Can you help me understand what you meant?” or “What I heard was ________. Is that what you meant?” After the conversation, journal: “I stayed curious instead of reactive. I learned ________.”
Thursday, May 28th: Venus square Saturn
On Thursday, Venus in Cancer squares Saturn in Aries—a tense, emotionally charged aspect that brings sensitivity, boundaries, and personal responsibility into sharp focus. Venus in Cancer values comfort, safety, warmth, and emotional nourishment. She wants softness, connection, and the feeling of being held. But today, she’s ruled by the Moon in Scorpio—a placement where the Moon is in its fall. This means the emotional landscape is intense, deep, psychological, and easily triggered. Scorpio energy brings buried feelings to the surface, often suddenly and with force. It’s the emotional equivalent of a scorpion backed into a corner—reactive, protective, and ready to sting if it feels threatened.
When Venus in Cancer squares Saturn in Aries, this sensitivity meets Saturn’s harshness. Saturn can feel like a wall, a “no,” a limit, or a cold reality check. It can activate feelings of not being enough, not being valued, or not being supported. Saturn is ruled by Mars in Taurus right now, and Mars is opposite the Scorpio Moon—making the emotional reactivity even stronger. This is VERY, VERY REACTIVE energy. Old wounds around worthiness, belonging, and emotional safety can be reactivated. You may second‑guess yourself or feel like you’re failing at something you’re actually doing beautifully.
But this transit isn’t here to punish you—it’s here to empower you.
Venus square Saturn asks: Where are you outsourcing your emotional needs? Where are you expecting others to fill your cup? Where are you abandoning yourself?
The way out of this energy is through self‑responsibility and self‑care. Saturn reminds us that we are responsible for tending to our own emotional needs. Not because others don’t care—but because no one knows your inner world better than you. No one can soothe you the way you can. No one can set your boundaries for you. No one can protect your peace the way you can.
Today may feel triggering. It may feel emotional. It may feel like others are asking too much of you or crossing lines you didn’t realize were boundaries until they were violated. You may feel irritated, overwhelmed, or underappreciated. But ultimately, this transit can be deeply empowering. It reminds you that you are capable of caring for yourself, protecting your energy, and setting limits that honor your emotional truth.
If someone expects you to “do, do, do” when your cup is empty, irritation is a sign that a boundary is needed. You don’t need to react—you can respond. Calmly. Clearly. Firmly. You are well within your rights to say what you will and will not tolerate. In fact, today it’s necessary.
What it feels like: Sensitive. Reactive. Tender. Like your emotional skin is thinner than usual. Old wounds may resurface. You may feel unappreciated, unseen, or taken for granted. You may feel like you’re being asked to give more than you have. But beneath the discomfort is a powerful opportunity to reclaim your emotional authority.
Positive expressions: Setting healthy boundaries. Taking responsibility for your emotional needs. Deepening self‑care. Emotional maturity. Recognizing where you’ve been over‑giving. Reclaiming your energy. Feeling empowered by your ability to self‑soothe. Strengthening your sense of self‑worth.
Shadow expressions: Emotional reactivity. Feeling unworthy or not enough. Taking things personally. Withdrawing or shutting down. Lashing out when overwhelmed. Expecting others to meet needs you haven’t communicated. Feeling burdened or resentful.
The invitation: Show yourself compassion. Tend to your emotional needs. Set boundaries where needed. Don’t rely on others to fill your cup—fill it yourself. Respond rather than react. Remember that your feelings are valid, but they are not the whole truth. Today is a day to reclaim your emotional power, honor your limits, and take responsibility for your inner world. You know yourself better than anyone else—trust that.
Healing opportunity & Actionable Step:
Filling Your Own Cup Before Pouring for Others
Aligned with Venus square Saturn — emotional sensitivity, boundaries, and self-responsibility.
Positive Expression: Setting healthy boundaries, taking responsibility for your emotional needs, deepening self-care, recognizing where you’ve been over-giving.
Shadow Expression: Emotional reactivity, feeling unworthy, taking things personally, withdrawing or shutting down, expecting others to meet needs you haven’t communicated.
Actionable Step: Create a “Self-Care Boundaries” list. Journal: “What emotional needs have I been outsourcing to others? What boundaries do I need in order to protect my energy? What is one small way I can fill my own cup today?” Then do that one thing—no explanation, no apology. You are responsible for your own emotional wellbeing. That is not selfish—it’s essential.
Sunday, May 31st: Sagittarius Full Moon (Blue Moon); Mercury sextile Chiron
On Sunday, we experience a Sagittarius Blue Moon—a somewhat rare and expansive Full Moon that brings culmination, revelation, and a powerful invitation to grow beyond our comfort zone. A Blue Moon occurs when two Full Moons fall within the same calendar month. We had a Full Moon on May 1st, and now another on May 30th/31st (depending on your time zone). This happens only every 2–3 years, making it symbolically potent: a double illumination, a double release, a double awakening.
Later in the day, Mercury in Gemini forms a sextile to Chiron in Aries, adding a layer of healing, insight, and courageous self‑expression to an already charged lunar moment.
But the centerpiece of the day is the Sagittarius Full Moon, which forms a Mutable Grand Cross and activates a Yod that has been present for a few weeks. This is not a quiet Full Moon—it’s dynamic, flexible, challenging, and deeply transformative.
The Sagittarius Blue Moon & the Mutable Grand Cross: A Mutable Grand Cross occurs when planets in Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces all square and oppose each other, creating a tension that demands adaptability. Mutable energy is about flexibility, learning, adjusting, and pivoting. It’s the energy of change, movement, and evolution.
In this chart, the Full Moon and the Nodes of Fate create the oppositions, making this a fated turning point. The Nodes bring karmic lessons, soul growth, and choice points. The Full Moon brings illumination, truth, and emotional clarity. Together, they create a moment where we can no longer avoid what needs to shift.
Sagittarius wants expansion, exploration, and to find meaning. Gemini wants information, curiosity, and connection. Virgo wants precision and control. Pisces wants trust, surrender, and faith. The Grand Cross forces us to balance all four.
Jupiter, the Ruler of the Full Moon: The ruler of this Full Moon is Jupiter in Cancer, which is also the ruler of the Pisces North Node. Jupiter in Cancer is ruled by the Moon—creating a beautiful mutual reception between the Moon and Jupiter. This strengthens the emotional, intuitive, and expansive nature of the day.
Jupiter in Cancer square Chiron in Aries highlights identity wounds, emotional vulnerability, and the need to explore new beliefs about who we are. This can feel tender, triggering, or raw—but it is meant to help us grow into a more empowered version of ourselves.
The Yod-The Finger of God: We have been working with this Yod for a few weeks, and it remains active today. The apex is the South Node in Virgo, ruled by Mercury.
This is the point of pressure—the place where we must release:
- perfectionism
- over‑analysis
- self‑criticism
- control
- skepticism
- fear of the unknown
Neptune in Aries and Pluto Rx in Aquarius form the base, offering the path forward:
- Neptune in Aries: Move toward the dream and ideal of who you want to be. Let imagination and inspiration guide your courageous new identity.
- Pluto Rx in Aquarius: Transform how you show up. Liberate and dissolve outdated identities. Awaken to new perspectives. Let the old self die so the new self can be born.
Together, they say: Release the Virgoan need for certainty. Move toward the Aries dream of who you are becoming. Let Pluto & Neptune purge & dissolve what no longer fits.
This Yod pushes us to stop perfecting our way into safety and start dreaming our way into transformation.
Mercury Sextile Chiron- Healing Through Curiosity: Mercury in Gemini sextile Chiron in Aries brings healing through communication, learning, and curiosity. Mercury rules the South Node, so this aspect helps us release old mental patterns—especially the ones that tell us we must be perfect before we begin.
Chiron in Aries highlights wounds around identity, courage, and self‑expression. Mercury in Gemini touches these wounds gently, helping us understand them, talk about them, and move through them.
This is a day to lean into discomfort, because that’s where the growth is.
Aspects to the Sagittarius Full Moon
- Sun (Gemini) opposite Moon (Sagittarius): Self‑reflection. Emotional truth vs conscious awareness. A need to integrate what you feel with what you know.
- Moon quincunx Mars (Taurus): Growth through discomfort. Exploring our feelings of uncertainty, unfamiliarity, and/or moving through our feelings of internal discomfort.
- Moon trine Saturn (Aries): Fiery, emotional personal responsibility. Inspiration to achieve. Courage to take ownership of your feelings and desires.
- Moon opposite Uranus (Gemini): Breakthroughs. Emotional instability. Sudden realizations. A challenge to old ways of thinking.
- Moon trine Neptune (Aries): Inspired dream. Courage to pursue an ideal/dream through action. Healing through imagination and possibility.
- Moon sextile Pluto Rx (Aquarius): Deep internal transformation. Emotional empowerment. Insight through introspection.
- Moon square the Nodes (Pisces/Virgo): A karmic choice point. A trust‑fall moment or a leap of faith. Growth through exploration and adaptability.
What it feels like: Expansive. Emotional. Unsettling. Inspiring. Like you’re standing at the edge of a new horizon but must release old beliefs to step forward. A mix of excitement and fear. A sense that something big is shifting inside you. A desire to explore new possibilities, but also an internal fear to pull back into old habits. A moment where trust becomes the bridge between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming.
Positive expressions:
- Emotional breakthroughs
- Expanding your beliefs
- Courage to explore new possibilities
- Healing identity wounds
- Letting go of perfectionism
- Trusting your intuition
- Inspired and courageous action
- Deep internal transformation
Shadow expressions:
- Feeling overwhelmed
- Overthinking
- Emotional reactivity
- Fear of the unknown
- Clinging to old beliefs
- Imposter syndrome
- Trying to control outcomes
- Avoiding growth because it feels uncomfortable
The invitation: Stay flexible. Stay curious. Stay open. Let go of the need to have everything figured out. Lean into the discomfort—it’s where the growth is. Trust the process, even if you can’t see the whole path. Let your beliefs expand. Let your identity evolve. Let yourself explore what feels meaningful, inspiring, and true.
This Sagittarius Blue Moon is a turning point. A release. A revelation. A doorway into a new chapter of your growth and expansion.
Let yourself walk through it.
Healing opportunity & Actionable Step:
Releasing Perfectionism at the Turning Point
Aligned with Sagittarius Blue Moon (expansive release) and Mercury sextile Chiron (healing through curiosity).
Positive Expression: Emotional breakthroughs, expanding your beliefs, letting go of perfectionism, trusting your intuition, inspired action.
Shadow Expression: Feeling overwhelmed, overthinking, emotional reactivity, fear of the unknown, clinging to old beliefs, trying to control outcomes.
Actionable Step: Complete the “Blue Moon Release.” Write down one perfectionist belief or self-critical pattern you’re ready to release (“I must have it all figured out before I begin,” “I’m not enough as I am”). Read it aloud. Then say: “I release this pattern with gratitude. It kept me safe once. I no longer need it.” Tear the paper, bury, dissolve it (water), or burn it. Then write one new belief to replace it. Place it somewhere visible. The Blue Moon is a doorway—walk through it without your old baggage.
Healing Mantra for the Week:
“I release the need to be certain. I trust the path even when I cannot see it. My beliefs are allowed to expand. My identity is allowed to evolve. I walk through the doorway of my own becoming.”
Psychology Fact:
Tolerance of Ambiguity & The Creativity of Not-Knowing
Tolerance of ambiguity—the capacity to embrace uncertain, in-between states—is associated with creativity, resilience, and psychological flexibility. Research shows that individuals who can tolerate ambiguity experience less anxiety during transitional periods because they don’t interpret “not knowing” as “something wrong.” The brain’s default mode network (DMN) is actively engaged during ambiguous states, integrating disparate information into new insights—but only when we stop demanding clarity. The discomfort of not knowing is not a problem to solve; it’s a signal that something new is forming. Relevance: The Sagittarius Blue Moon is a turning point—a doorway into a new chapter. The shadow is demanding certainty before stepping through. The healing is to practice tolerance of ambiguity—to trust that not knowing is not the same as being lost.
Practice: Use “The Doorway Affirmation.” When you feel anxious about not knowing how things will unfold, say aloud: “I don’t need to see the whole path. I just need to take the next step. The not-knowing is not failure—it’s where possibility lives.” Then stand at your literal doorway (or visualize one). Place your hand on the frame. Take a breath. Step through. Journal afterward: “I stepped through without knowing what was on the other side. What I discovered was ________.” This small practice builds neural capacity for trusting.
Shadow Journal Prompts: (for the whole week)
- The Voice That Only Shows Up When I’m Growing– Mars-North Node asks for steady growth; Sun square Nodes highlights the choice between familiarity and expansion.
Think of a time you felt like an imposter—like you weren’t ready, qualified, or “enough” for something you were stepping into. What was that situation? And looking back, was that voice telling you the truth, or was it just afraid? What would change if you recognized that voice as a sign of growth, not a reason to stop? What is it trying to protect you from—and what might you be ready to risk anyway? - The Fear Beneath the Reaction– Mars square Pluto surfaces old wounds; Sun trine Pluto offers the clarity to understand them.
Think of a recent moment when you reacted strongly—defensiveness, shutdown, irritation, tears. Pause before the story. What was the fear underneath? Not what they did, but what you were afraid was true about you? Where did that fear first take root? And what might happen if you let that fear speak—not to control you, but to be heard, finally, by the version of you who’s now strong enough to listen? - The Cup I Keep Expecting Others to Fill– Venus square Saturn asks us to take responsibility for our own emotional needs.
Where have you been waiting for someone else to make you feel safe, seen, valued, or loved? What would it look like to give that to yourself instead? Not in a way that isolates you, but in a way that frees you—so you can receive from others without needing them to complete you. What is one small way you can fill your own cup today, no explanation required? - The Belief I’m Ready to Outgrow– The Blue Moon brings release; Mercury-Chiron offers healing through curiosity and expanded perspective.
What is one belief you hold about yourself, others, or the world that feels less like truth and more like an old coat that no longer fits? Where did you first learn this belief? What would it cost you to keep believing it? And what might become possible if you set it down—not because you have a new belief to replace it, but because you’re finally willing to explore the question instead of clinging to the answer? - The Door I’m Ready to Walk Through– The Blue Moon is a rare turning point—a double illumination, a double release.
If this Blue Moon is a doorway, what are you leaving on the other side? Perfectionism? Control? The need to know before you try? The fear of being seen? And what are you carrying with you—courage, curiosity, self-compassion, faith? Describe who you’re becoming on the other side of this threshold, even if you can only see the first few steps. That’s enough. The doorway is open. You don’t need to be ready—you just need to be willing to step forward.
