The Astrology for March 16th – 22nd, 2026: Mercury’s Final Message, The Pisces New Moon & The Spring Equinox Rebirth

A Weekly Astrological Look Ahead with Soul-Work Journal Prompts, Healing Opportunities, as well as Actionable Steps to Work with the Energy.

Hey Soul Seekers,

This week has lots of energy that asks us to pay attention, to feel deeply, and to trust what’s emerging. We have the second part of Mercury’s three conjunctions to the North Node in Pisces, deepening a fated message that’s been weaving through these last few weeks of retrograde season. The Pisces New Moon arrives midweek, inviting us to trust a vision we may not yet fully see. Then the Sun enters Aries, marking the Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere as well as the astrological New Year—a rebirth of identity, courage, and purpose. Mercury finally stations direct, lifting the fog and delivering the clarity this retrograde and eclipse season has been cultivating all along. And the week closes with the Sun conjunct Neptune in Aries, dissolving old egoic patterns and igniting a new, soul-aligned vision of who we’re becoming.

Pay attention to what you feel. Notice what’s rising to be upgraded, dissolved, released, or reborn. Things are beginning to move quickly now, and the shift is something you’ll feel in your body before your mind can name it.

We’re in it together. Let’s walk through it with open hearts and quiet trust.

Understanding The Planetary Cycles

Just like last prior weeks, you’ll notice I’ve included the larger view of the dates & cycle for all the major transits. I find that seeing this bigger picture—the date a cycle began, where we’ve been, and where it’s headed—helps us understand how this energy has already been moving through our lives. If you feel called, take a peek back in your calendar, journal, or even old photos and texts from the initial conjunction dates mentioned. It’s a powerful practice to see the story unfolding and watch the next piece of your personal puzzle click into place. Let me know if you find this as helpful as I do!

Now, let’s dive into the energetic currents for this week, March 16th- 22nd.

Day by Day Breakdown

The Astrology for Tuesday March 17th, 2026

Internal Messages Toward an Intuitive Path Image by Katrin Schulz from Pixabay

* Mercury Rx conjunct North Node (Pisces) (2nd of 3 conjunctions)

Mercury Rx Conjunct North Node — The Deeper Download

Today, Mercury retrograde makes its second of three conjunctions to the North Node in Pisces—a fated meeting that sits at the heart of this entire retrograde cycle. The first conjunction, back on February 12th, offered an intuitive whisper, a seed planted in the shadow. Today’s meeting brings the deeper understanding, the revelation, the layer of meaning that was not as accessible before. And on March 23rd, just days after Mercury stations direct, the final conjunction will offer the clarity that leads to forward movement.

This is a three-part story. Today is part II—the deepening, the unraveling, the moment where the message becomes unmistakable.

A Fated Activation of the Eclipse Storyline

This conjunction directly activates the eclipse energy still reverberating through the Pisces–Virgo axis. Mercury retrograde meeting the North Node suggests that our minds are being reoriented—pulled toward a soul-level direction that cannot be accessed through logic alone. This is a moment of fated guidance, where intuitive messages, symbolic insights, dreams, and subtle emotional cues reveal what needs to be rethought, reorganized, or reimagined.

Because Mercury rules the Virgo South Node, this conjunction also pulls old patterns to the surface—especially habits of overthinking, perfectionism, self-criticism, and the relentless need to control outcomes. These patterns rise not to haunt us, but to be seen, acknowledged, and finally released. The North Node in Pisces asks for surrender, trust, and intuitive listening. Mercury retrograde asks for reflection. Together, they create a moment where the mind is being rewired to follow the soul rather than the ego or the old patterns that have kept us stuck.

The Moon’s Role: Heightened Intuition and Emotional Sensitivity

Mercury retrograde is conjunct the Pisces Moon today, just one day before the Pisces New Moon. This amplifies intuition, emotional permeability, and the ability to pick up on subtle messages that would otherwise go unnoticed. The mind and the emotional body are speaking the same language, making this an ideal time for meditation, journaling, quiet reflection, symbolic interpretation, and dreamwork.

This is not a day for forcing clarity. It’s a day for receiving it. Give yourself space. Sit in silence. Let the downloads come. They may not arrive as words—they may arrive as feelings, as images, as a sudden knowing that you can’t yet explain. Trust that.

Mars’ Influence: A Preview of the Actions That Will Matter

Mercury retrograde is still conjunct Mars, echoing their powerful meeting on Sunday. That earlier conjunction offered a preview of how our actions may need to evolve—what courageous steps will eventually be required to align with our deeper fulfillment. Today’s Mercury–North Node conjunction revisits that insight from a more internal, intuitive angle.

What you felt instinctively with Mars is now being processed mentally and spiritually. The action and the understanding are weaving together, preparing you for the clarity that will emerge when Mercury completes its retrograde.

Jupiter’s Guidance: Emotional Truth and Spiritual Direction

Jupiter in Cancer—ruler of Pisces and ruler of this entire conjunction—is trine the Moon, Mercury retrograde, Mars, and the North Node. This creates a supportive, emotionally wise backdrop that helps us understand:

  • What we truly believe
  • What we emotionally need
  • What direction feels spiritually aligned
  • Where trust is required for growth

Jupiter’s trine softens the retrograde, making it easier to receive guidance rather than resist it. There is a sense of being held, of being guided, of not needing to figure it all out alone. Jupiter reminds us that the wisdom we need is already within us—we just need to be still enough to hear it.

The Meaning of This Transit

This conjunction is a moment when the mind receives a fated message and our intuition becomes louder than logic, allowing old Virgo South Node patterns to dissolve as the eclipse storyline clarifies. The next chapter of our path begins to reveal itself through inner listening, which becomes the key to forward movement. It’s a day to slow down, create space, and let the deeper current speak; the clarity that emerges now will become actionable once Mercury stations direct and meets the North Node for the final time—the last time this conjunction will occur in Pisces for another 18 years.

What This Feels Like: A quiet but unmistakable sense that something important is being communicated to you—not in words, but in felt truth. Increased dream activity or symbolic insights. The urge to retreat, to reflect, to listen. A softening of mental rigidity, replaced by a quiet, receptive knowing. The sense that you’re being guided, even if you can’t see where this might be leading you.

Healing Mantra:

“I am still enough to receive what my soul needs me to know. Old patterns dissolve as I listen. I trust the deeper current guiding me home to myself.”

The Mercury-North Node Cycle

The Mercury–North Node cycle aligns the mind with the soul’s direction, revealing the insights, perspectives, and intuitive messages needed to move toward your evolutionary path. Its purpose is to dissolve outdated mental patterns and open you to fated guidance—and because Mercury’s retrograde cycle often creates multiple conjunctions, this process unfolds in stages, each pass deepening clarity before the lesson completes.

Healing Opportunities with Actionable Steps:

1. Receiving the Deeper Layer of the Message

Aligned with Mercury Rx conjunct North Node (2nd of 3 conjunctions) — the revelation phase.

  • Positive Expression: Understanding something now that was only whispered in February. The message becomes clearer, deeper, more unmistakable. Intuitive downloads that feel like remembering, not learning.
  • Shadow Expression: Dismissing the insight because it’s not fully formed. Waiting for the “final answer” instead of honoring the deepening. Rushing past the revelation toward resolution.
  • Actionable Step: Create a “Revelation Log.” Today, carry a small notebook or use your phone notes. Throughout the day, capture any insights, dreams, or intuitive hits—even fragments. At day’s end, review and write: “What I’m understanding now that I couldn’t see before is ________.” Let the answers come without forcing. This honors the second act of the three-part story.

2. Letting Old Virgo Patterns Surface for Final Release

Aligned with Mercury (ruler of Virgo South Node) meeting the North Node in Pisces.

  • Positive Expression: Old habits of overthinking, perfectionism, and self-criticism rise to the surface—not to haunt you, but to be seen and released. You understand why they were there and why you no longer need them.
  • Shadow Expression: Fusing with the old patterns, believing they’re still true. Beating yourself up for “still having” these tendencies. Resisting the surfacing instead of allowing the release.
  • Actionable Step: Conduct a “Pattern Release Ritual.” Write down one specific Virgo pattern that’s been surfacing (“I need to have it all figured out,” “I’m not doing enough,” “I should be further along”). Read it aloud. Then say: “I see you. You kept me safe once. I release you now.” Tear the paper, burn it, or place it in water to dissolve. This symbolic act engages the body and emotion in the release.

3. Creating Space for Silent Reception

Aligned with Mercury Rx conjunct the Pisces Moon — heightened intuition and emotional sensitivity.

  • Positive Expression: Feeling deeply receptive, permeable, and open to subtle guidance. Receiving downloads through dreams, quiet moments, and symbolic knowing. Trusting that clarity doesn’t always come as words.
  • Shadow Expression: Filling the silence with noise, distraction, or busyness. Dismissing intuitive hits because they’re not logical. Missing the downloads because you’re putting too much pressure on yourself to receive them.
  • Actionable Step: Schedule “Sacred Silence.” Today, carve out 20-30 minutes of uninterrupted quiet. No music, no podcasts, no screens. Just you, a notebook, and stillness. Set a gentle intention: “I am open to receiving what my soul needs me to know.” Sit in silence for the first 10 minutes, then journal whatever arose—images, feelings, fragments. This is not about forcing downloads; it’s about creating space for them to arrive. You can also go for a walk, keep your mind open to receiving, when you get home write down your thoughts.

4. Integrating Mars’ Instinct into Mental Understanding

Aligned with Mercury Rx still conjunct Mars — instinct and intuition weaving together.

  • Positive Expression: Understanding on a mental and spiritual level what you felt instinctively on Sunday. The action and the knowing are integrating, preparing you for forward movement.
  • Shadow Expression: Separating the instinct from the understanding—feeling one thing, thinking another. Dismissing the instinct because you can’t yet explain it or you don’t trust it. Rushing to act before the integration is complete.
  • Actionable Step: Complete the “Instinct to Insight” bridge. In your journal, draw a line down the center. Left side: “What I felt instinctively on Sunday (Mars).” Right side: “What I’m now understanding about that feeling (Mercury).” For each instinct, write the corresponding insight. Then complete: “My instinct and my understanding are weaving together. I trust this integration.” This bridges the gap between felt knowing and conscious clarity.

Psychology Fact:

Psychology Fact: “Narrative Identity” & The Meaning of Middle Passages
Narrative identity (McAdams) is the internalized story we construct about our lives. Research shows that individuals who frame life challenges as part of a meaningful story—with a beginning, middle, and end—report higher well-being than those who experience events as disconnected. The middle passage of any story is where tension builds, meaning deepens, and character develops. Rushing through it or resisting it undermines the narrative’s coherence. Relevance: This is Part II of the Mercury-North Node story. The shadow is wanting to skip to Act III (final clarity on March 23rd). The healing is to honor the middle passage as essential—where meaning deepens and character is forged.
Create a “Three-Act Narrative Map.” Draw a simple timeline with three markers:
-Act I (Feb 12): “The Seed — what was first whispered?”
-Act II (today): “The Deepening — what I’m understanding now”
-Act III (Mar 23): “The Clarity — what I trust will emerge”
Write a sentence in each. Then add: “I am in the middle of a story whose ending I don’t yet know. This tension is preparation, not punishment.” This narrative framing activates the brain’s meaning-making networks and reduces anxiety about the unknown.

Shadow Journal Prompts:

  1. The Message That’s Becoming ClearerMercury’s second North Node conjunction brings the deepening of understanding. Looking back to February 12th—what intuitive whisper or clue was planted for you then? What am I understanding now about that message that I couldn’t see before? How is the revelation different from the seed?
  2. The Old Pattern Rising One Last TimeMercury rules the Virgo South Node, bringing old patterns to the surface for release. What familiar pattern—overthinking, perfectionism, self-criticism, control, a belief—has been surfacing lately? Not to haunt me, but to be seen. If this pattern could speak, what would it say it was trying to protect me from? And what am I ready to promise it now about moving forward?
  3. What I Heard in the SilenceMercury conjunct the Pisces Moon heightens intuition and receptivity. Today, if I create space for silence, what wants to be received? Not forced, not figured out—just received. Write from that quiet place, letting words emerge without editing. What did the silence tell me?
  4. Weaving Instinct and UnderstandingMercury still conjunct Mars bridges felt knowing and mental clarity. Think back to the instinctive knowing that arose around March 15th, when Mars and Mercury met. What did I feel then? And now, with more understanding, what is that instinct trying to teach me about my next steps? How is the feeling and the knowing, landing together?
  5. A Letter to the Self Who Will Receive Final ClarityThe third North Node conjunction arrives on March 23rd, offering resolution. Write a letter to yourself for March 23rd, after Mercury stations direct and meets the North Node one final time. What do you hope that version of you understands? What clarity do you trust will have emerged? What do you want to remind yourself about the importance of listening, of trusting, of surrendering to the unfolding?

The Astrology for Wednesday March 18th, 2026

* Venus (Aries) closing square Jupiter (Cancer)
* Sun (Pisces) closing sextile Uranus (Taurus)

* Pisces New Moon

The Pisces New Moon — Trusting Our Becoming

Today, the Sun and Moon meet in the mystical waters of Pisces, birthing a New Moon that asks one thing of us: trust. Not control. Not certainty. Not a five-year plan. Just trust—in what we feel, in what we’re becoming, and in the quiet, intuitive knowing that has been growing beneath the surface.

This is the first lunation since the Virgo Lunar Eclipse, which asked us to release the self-sabotaging behaviors that consistently hold us back—the inner critic, the perfectionism, the need to control every outcome. Now, with this Pisces New Moon, we are being asked to step into the space that release created and simply trust what wants to emerge.

We are planting seeds in water. And water doesn’t reveal what it’s growing on command. It asks for patience, for faith, for the willingness to let things unfold in their own time.

The Lunation’s Core: Vision Meets Structure, Ready to Break Free

This New Moon carries a powerful fusion of energies. It is conjunct Saturn and Neptune in early Aries, meaning that within this seed moment, our vision (Neptune) and our plan (Saturn) are being woven together. The dreams we’ve been tending during this long Pisces season are not meant to stay formless—they are ready to meet the structure that will help them take shape. Saturn in Aries asks for courage, commitment, and the discipline to build something real from what we’ve envisioned.

At the same time, this New Moon (including the Sun) is sextile Uranus in Taurus, opening a gentle but liberating doorway. Uranus brings the spark of breakthrough, the flash of insight, the courage to break free from what’s been holding us back. And because Uranus is in Taurus, what’s being loosened is often old values, outdated comforts, and learned behaviors that once kept us safe but have long been outgrown. These are the protective patterns we developed—ways of managing fear, securing love, maintaining control—that now stand between us and the becoming that’s calling us forward.

Together, this configuration creates a sacred alchemy: vision + structure + liberation. The New Moon fuses what we dream with how we’ll build it, while Uranus gently but firmly untangles us from the past so we can step into the new.

The Rulers Speak: Jupiter Exalted, Neptune Co-Ruling

This New Moon is ruled by Jupiter in Cancer—exalted, wise, emotionally attuned—and co-ruled by Neptune in Aries, the dreamer, the dissolver, the visionary. Together, they create a field of energy that is both deeply feeling and spiritually inspired.

  • Jupiter in Cancer is exalted, meaning it expresses its gifts with ease: emotional wisdom, intuitive expansion, nurturing guidance. As the ruler of this lunation, Jupiter infuses the New Moon with the understanding that growth comes not from force, but from feeling.
  • Neptune in Aries adds a visionary, dissolving quality—old identities soften, new dreams take shape, and we’re invited to imagine who we’re becoming without needing to prove it yet.

The Moon and Jupiter share a mutual reception—each in the other’s sign—creating a sacred conversation between our emotional body and our spiritual compass. They are speaking the same language, and we are invited to listen.

The Pile-Up: Pisces and Aries in Conversation

We have a pile-up of energy in both Pisces and Aries right now, signaling that we are in motion. Something is shifting. Mercury retrograde, Mars, and the North Node are all in Pisces, while Venus, Neptune, and Saturn gather in Aries. This is not a static moment—it is a threshold.

Mercury retrograde has an important lesson woven into this New Moon. As Jupiter trines Mercury, we are being given an upgrade—a new set of beliefs, a new way of thinking, a clearer sense of what we came here to be and do. We are remembering our deeper purpose. We are starting to know—not through logic, but through a deep, visceral felt sense—what wants to happen next.

This can feel scary. Trusting ourselves, trusting our direction, trusting that we are capable of carrying out the vision that’s been seeded—it requires courage. But the alternative is staying small, staying stuck, staying in the patterns we just spent the eclipse releasing.

Jupiter square Venus in Aries adds productive tension to this New Moon. Venus has just made a new pact with Neptune and Saturn in Aries—a new vision, a new plan, a new understanding of what she desires and values. Now Jupiter squares her, asking: Is this desire aligned with what truly nourishes you? Is this vision rooted in emotional truth, not just impulse? This square ensures that what we begin now is built on a foundation of genuine feeling, not fleeting want.

What This New Moon Asks of Us

This lunation marks a moment where:

  • A new spiritual and emotional cycle begins
  • Vision and structure fuse, giving form to what we’ve been dreaming
  • Uranus offers gentle liberation from outdated values and protective patterns
  • We start to remember our deeper purpose
  • We learn to trust our unfolding—not from fear, but from courage
  • We surrender to the divine plan, trusting that what we begin will unfold as it’s meant to

It asks us to psychologically have faith in ourselves. To confront the fear that whispers “you can’t,” “you’re not ready,” “what if it doesn’t work out?” and to answer with something quieter but more true: I trust my becoming. I trust the path. I trust what I feel, even when I cannot see.

It also asks us to gently release the learned behaviors that once protected us but now confine us—the old values, the familiar comforts, the safety strategies we’ve outgrown. Uranus sextile this New Moon is not a violent disruption; it’s a quiet invitation to lay down what no longer fits so we can step more freely into who we’re becoming.

This is not a beginning we need to understand. It is a beginning we need to feel—and then have the courage to follow.

What This Feels Like: A deep, visceral knowing that something is shifting, even if you can’t name it yet. The sense that you’re starting to remember who you came here to be. Fear and excitement tangled together—the scared part of you and the courageous part of you standing at the same threshold. A quiet but persistent pull toward trust, toward surrender, toward the unknown. The gentle loosening of old safety patterns, making space for a new kind of freedom.

Healing Mantra:

“I trust my becoming. I release the need to control. My vision and my purpose are weaving together. I gently release the old patterns that once protected me, making space for the freedom I’m ready to claim.”

Healing Opportunities with Actionable Steps:

1. Trusting the Unfolding Without Needing to Control

Aligned with the Pisces New Moon — ruled by Jupiter in Cancer, asking for faith over force.

  • Positive Expression: Allowing yourself to not know how things will unfold, but trusting they will. Surrendering the need to control outcomes. Feeling a deep, quiet faith in your becoming.
  • Shadow Expression: Panicking when you can’t see the path. Trying to force clarity or certainty. Mistaking trust for passivity and doing nothing.
  • Actionable Step: Practice “Surrender Hours.” Today, designate 2-3 specific hours where you consciously release the need to figure anything out. No planning, no problem-solving, no “what ifs.” During this time, do something that connects you to flow: walk in nature, listen to music, sit in quiet, doodle. When the urge to control arises, gently say: “Not now. I’m practicing trust.” This builds the muscle of surrender.

2. Fusing Vision with Structure for a Real Beginning

Aligned with the New Moon conjunct Saturn and Neptune — vision meets commitment.

  • Positive Expression: Feeling a dream or inspiration take on a sense of real possibility. Understanding that vision alone isn’t enough—it needs structure to become real. Sensing the first stirrings of commitment to something that matters.
  • Shadow Expression: Staying in the dream phase indefinitely, never grounding it. Or over-structuring so rigidly that you kill the inspiration. Separating vision from action.
  • Actionable Step: Create a “Vision + Structure” map. On one side of a page, write the vision or dream that’s been surfacing (Neptune). On the other side, write one small, concrete commitment you can make to honor it (Saturn). It doesn’t need to be the whole plan—just one step. Then write: “My vision becomes real through my commitment. I am building something that matters.”

3. Gently Releasing Outdated Safety Patterns

Aligned with the New Moon sextile Uranus in Taurus — liberation from old values and protective behaviors.

  • Positive Expression: Noticing where you’ve been holding onto old ways of keeping yourself “safe” that no longer serve you. Feeling a gentle loosening—not forceful, just ready. Making space for new freedom.
  • Shadow Expression: Clinging to familiar comforts even when they’ve become cages. Mistaking the release of old patterns for loss rather than liberation. Resisting the very freedom you need.
  • Actionable Step: Conduct a “Safety Pattern Audit.” Journal these questions: “What learned behavior have I relied on to feel safe (people-pleasing, controlling, withdrawing, perfectionism, a belief)? When did this pattern first protect me? Do I still need it in the same way? What might be possible if I loosened my grip, just a little?” For one pattern, write: “I release you with gratitude. You kept me safe once. I am ready for a new kind of freedom.”

4. Receiving Mercury’s Upgrade: Remembering Your Deeper Purpose

Aligned with Jupiter trine Mercury Rx — new beliefs, new direction, remembering why you’re here.

  • Positive Expression: Feeling a quiet but unmistakable remembering of what you came here to be or do. Not as a loud declaration, but as a deep, visceral knowing. Understanding your path on a soul level.
  • Shadow Expression: Dismissing these moments of remembering as “nothing.” Waiting for a dramatic revelation instead of honoring quiet knowing. Letting fear drown out the signal.
  • Actionable Step: Create a “Purpose Glimpses” log. Today and in the coming days, whenever you have a moment of deep knowing or understanding—a sense of “oh, that’s why,” a feeling of alignment, a remembering of something that feels true—write it down immediately. Don’t edit, don’t judge. At the end of the week, read through your log and notice the thread. This is Mercury’s upgrade, delivered in whispers. Listen.

Psychology Fact:

Psychology Fact: “Self-Concept Clarity” & The Default Mode Network
Self-concept clarity (Campbell) is basically how clearly and confidently you understand who you are—your values, your strengths, what matters to you, and what doesn’t. When that inner sense of self feels steady, people tend to feel less anxious, more grounded, and more directed in their goals. The part of the brain that handles self‑reflection and personal memories—the Default Mode Network (DMN)—lights up when you’re daydreaming, journaling, or just quietly thinking. Those slower, reflective moments help your brain weave together your past, present, and future into a clearer sense of “this is who I am.” Relevance: Jupiter trine Mercury Rx offers an “upgrade” in purpose and belief—a remembering of why we’re here. The shadow is dismissing these glimmers as insignificant or rushing past them. The healing is to create reflective space for the DMN to do its integrative work. Practice “Purpose Reflection” in a quiet state. Set a timer for 10 minutes. Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and allow your mind to wander gently around the question: “What am I starting to remember about why I’m here, my purpose?” Don’t force answers. After the timer ends, jot down any images, feelings, or phrases that arose. This activates the DMN’s integrative function, allowing that deeper purpose to surface from beneath conscious awareness.

Shadow Journal Prompts:

  1. The Trust I’m Being Asked to OfferThe Pisces New Moon asks for faith in our becoming, not control over it. In what area of my life am I gripping most tightly right now—trying to control, predict, or force an outcome? What would it feel like to loosen my grip, even slightly, and trust that my unfolding knows what it’s doing?
  2. The Dream That’s Ready to Take ShapeThe New Moon conjunct Saturn and Neptune fuses vision with structure. What vision, inspiration, or deep longing has been surfacing for me lately? Not a to-do list, but a soul-whisper. If that dream were ready to take its first step toward becoming real, what would that step be? Not the whole plan—just the next small, brave thing.
  3. The Safety Pattern I’ve OutgrownUranus sextile the New Moon gently loosens old protective behaviors. Think of a learned behavior you’ve relied on to feel safe—people-pleasing, controlling, withdrawing, perfectionism, staying small, a learned belief. When did this pattern first protect you? And now, with love and honesty: Is it still protecting you, or has it become a cage?
  4. What I’m Remembering About Why I’m Here– Jupiter trine Mercury Rx offers an upgrade in purpose and belief. In quiet moments lately, have I had any glimpses of “oh, that’s why”—a remembering, a knowing, a sense of alignment? Write about even the smallest glimmer. What might my soul be trying to remind me about why I came here?
  5.  A Conversation with the Part of Me That’s Afraid to TrustThis New Moon asks us to confront fear with courage. Write a short dialogue between two parts of yourself: the part that’s afraid to trust—that wants guarantees, safety, proof—and the part that knows a deeper truth, that feels the pull of becoming. Let them speak honestly. What does the scared part need to hear? What does the knowing part want to promise?

Aries Season Officially Begins- Happy Spring Equinox

* Sun Enters Aries (Spring Equinox)
* Mercury Stations Direct (Pisces)

The Sun Enters Aries & Mercury Stations Direct — A Rebirth

Today is a powerful shift of energy—a moment where the cosmos itself seems to take a deep breath and begin again. The Sun enters Aries, ushering in the astrological New Year and the Spring Equinox in the northern hemisphere. Simultaneously, Mercury stations direct in Pisces on the North Node, delivering the clarity and understanding this retrograde and eclipse season was all about.

This is not just a fresh start. It is a consecrated new beginning—one shaped by vision, discipline, empowerment, and the quiet wisdom of weeks spent in reflection.

The Sun Enters Aries: The Astrological New Year

The Sun’s ingress into Aries always marks a rebirth—a moment when life rises, energy returns, and the world feels newly animated. But this year’s Aries season is unusually charged. The Sun steps into Aries and immediately encounters a rapid-fire sequence of potent aspects within its first five days:

  • Sun conjunct Neptune — dissolving the old self, awakening intuition, softening the ego, and reigniting a new vision of purpose
  • Sun conjunct Saturn — forming new structure, commitment, discipline, and a driven purpose
  • Sun opening sextile Pluto — empowering transformation, deepening authenticity, and igniting inner strength

This is a visionary initiation, a structural initiation, and a transformative initiation all at once. The Sun is reborn in Aries, immediately purified by Neptune, shaped by Saturn, and empowered by Pluto. This is not a beginning we enter lightly—it is a beginning we are prepared for.

And because the Sun is now in Aries, it is ruled by Mars—who is currently conjunct the North Node and Mercury in Pisces, as well as trine Jupiter in Cancer. Mars is now the engine behind the entire pile-up of Aries energy: the Sun, Neptune, Saturn, Venus, the Moon (at the time of ingress), and Chiron all reside in his home sign. This means that every layer of our becoming—our vision, our structure, our desire, our emotional truth, our healing—is being activated and directed by something deeper than logic, it is instinctual. Mars in Pisces asks us to move and act from intuition, instinct, and from a soul-level knowing.

The First Five Days: A Rapid Sequence of Energy

Within the first five days of Aries season, the Sun makes three major contacts that shape the entire season:

  • March 22nd: Sun conjunct Neptune — The old self dissolves. A new vision awakens. Intuition becomes our guide.
  • March 25th: Sun conjunct Saturn — The vision gains structure. Commitment forms. We begin building what we’ve envisioned.
  • March 25th: Sun opening sextile Pluto — Deep empowerment. Authentic transformation. Inner strength rises to meet the moment.

This sequence is followed by the Libra Full Moon on April 1st, which becomes the first checkpoint of Aries season—asking for balance, awareness of how our emerging identity affects others, and the integration of self within relationship to others. Just days later, the Sun squares Jupiter in Cancer, expanding emotional truth and intuitive understanding in what can feel like a growth spurt.

As the Sun moves deeper into Aries, it conjuncts Chiron on April 16th, followed immediately by the Aries New Moon on April 17th—still conjunct Chiron. This is the healing moment, the seeding of a new identity rooted in courage, self-trust, and authenticity. By April 19th, the Sun enters Taurus, grounding all this fiery initiation into something tangible, steady, and ready to be built upon, as well as nourished.

This Aries season is not just fast and fiery—it is courageously infused with visionary energy, being structurally reshaped, being emotionally awakened, and karmically aligned. It is the spark of the self being reborn, where intuition and purpose fuse, where old identities dissolve and new commitments take shape.

Mercury Stations Direct: The Message Arrives

On the same day the Sun enters Aries, Mercury stations direct in Pisces—and it does so exactly on the North Node. This is a moment of recognition, an inner click where something that was previously foggy, confusing, or unresolved suddenly begins to make sense.

Mercury’s direct station on the North Node delivers a message about direction, purpose, and the deeper meaning behind this entire eclipse season. Because the North Node is in Pisces, this clarity is not through pure logic, but through intuition, symbolism, emotional truth, and subtle inner knowing. It is the moment where the retrograde’s lessons crystallize.

Mercury will now travel back through the degrees it has been revisiting—from 08°29′ to 22°33′ Pisces—for the third and final time, completing the full retrograde loop and bringing understanding to everything this cycle has been unraveling.

The Final Pass: Completing the Three-Part Story

Mercury will make its third and final conjunction with the North Node on March 23rd, closing a storyline that began during the pre-shadow and deepened during the retrograde. This is the last time Mercury and the North Node will meet in Pisces for 18 years—this is a moment of karmic completion.

On April 3rd, Mercury will trine Jupiter—now direct in Cancer—for the third and final time, bringing emotional wisdom, spiritual understanding, and a sense of inner expansion to the insights gained.

Mercury remains conjunct Mars, giving the mind energy, courage, and a renewed sense of direction. Mars provides the instinctive push that helps Mercury translate insight into action. The retrograde revealed the inner truth; Mars now helps us act on it.

By April 9th, Mercury leaves its post-shadow at 22°33′ Pisces, finally entering new territory with a renewed sense of purpose. After weeks of revisiting, rethinking, and reimagining, Mercury can now move forward with clarity, direction, and alignment.

What This Day Feels Like

A visceral sense of renewal—as if something in you is rising to meet the Sun’s warmth. The fog of the retrograde begins to lift, replaced by a quiet but unmistakable understanding. Motivation returns. Courage rises. The desire to begin again becomes undeniable. And beneath it all, a steady knowing: the message has arrived, the lesson is understood, and the path ahead is ready to unfold. That we are finally ready to move forward with a renewed sense of purpose.

Healing Mantra:

“I am reborn in this new season. What was foggy now becomes clear. I carry the wisdom of my inward journey into the light of new beginnings.”

Healing Opportunities & Actionable Steps:

1. Receiving the Rebirth of Self

Aligned with Sun entering Aries (Spring Equinox) — the astrological New Year.

  • Positive Expression: Feeling a visceral sense of renewal, as if something in you is rising to meet the Sun. Motivation returns. Courage awakens. The desire to begin again becomes undeniable and alive.
  • Shadow Expression: Resisting the call to begin, staying in the stagnation of the past. Mistaking the energy for anxiety rather than activation. Overthinking the rebirth instead of simply allowing it.
  • Actionable Step: Perform a “Rebirth Ritual.” Today, light a candle and sit quietly. Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly. Speak aloud: “I am reborn in this new season. I release what was. I welcome what’s becoming.” Then write one sentence about what you’re ready to begin—not a plan, just a felt sense of direction. Let the flame witness your intention.

2. Allowing the Old Self to Dissolve

Aligned with Sun conjunct Neptune (March 22nd) — vision rising from dissolution.

  • Positive Expression: Feeling old identities, attachments, or ways of being gently dissolve—not through force, but through natural expansion. A new vision of purpose begins to awaken from within.
  • Shadow Expression: Clinging to the old self out of familiarity. Fearing the dissolution as loss rather than liberation. Resisting the softening that Neptune asks for.
  • Actionable Step: Create a “Dissolution Inventory.” On one side of a page, write: “What feels like it’s dissolving in me?” On the other side, write: “What new vision might be trying to emerge from this space?” Don’t force answers—let them surface. Then close with: “I trust what is leaving and what is arriving. Both are part of my becoming.”

3. Receiving Mercury’s Clarifying Message

Aligned with Mercury stationing direct on the North Node — the message crystallizes.

  • Positive Expression: A quiet but unmistakable click of understanding. What was foggy becomes coherent. The retrograde’s lessons finally land in a way that feels true and usable.
  • Shadow Expression: Dismissing the clarity because it’s not dramatic enough. Rushing past the insight toward “what’s next” without integrating it. Letting the mind spin back into overthinking.
  • Actionable Step: Create a “Message Received” log. Today, sit with the question: “What am I now understanding that I couldn’t see before this retrograde?” Write whatever comes—fragments, feelings, sentences. Then read it back and say aloud: “Message received. I trust this clarity.” This honors Mercury’s station as the moment of arrival.

4. Translating Insight into Instinctive Action

Aligned with Mercury conjunct Mars — the mind and instinct working together.

  • Positive Expression: Feeling the integration of inner truth (Mercury) with the courage to act (Mars). Knowing not just what is true, but what step wants to be taken next. Insight becomes embodied.
  • Shadow Expression: Separating the knowing from the doing—understanding what’s true but not moving on it. Acting impulsively without the wisdom of the retrograde. Letting fear override instinct.
  • Actionable Step: Complete the “Insight to Action” bridge. In your journal, draw a line. Left side: “What I now understand (Insight).” Right side: “What one small step wants to be taken (Action).” For each insight, identify one tangible, gentle action—even tiny—that honors it. Then commit: “I will take this step by ________.” This bridges Mercury’s clarity with Mars’ courage.

Psychology Fact:

Psychology Fact: “The Proteus Effect” & Identity Fluidity
The Proteus Effect (Yee & Bailenson) describes how changes in self-representation lead to changes in behavior. More broadly, research on self-concept clarity shows that identity is not fixed but fluid—periods of identity dissolution are actually necessary precursors to identity evolution. The discomfort of “not knowing who I am anymore” is a sign of healthy transformation, not dysfunction. The brain is clearing outdated self-schemas to make room for new ones. Relevance: Sun conjunct Neptune dissolves old identities. The shadow is interpreting this dissolution as loss or confusion. The healing is to recognize that the “fog” is not disorientation—it’s clearing.  Practice “Identity Observation.” When you feel the old self dissolving, journal: “I notice the thought/belief/identity ________ is loosening. I don’t need to know who I’m becoming yet. I’m in the between stage.” This mindfulness-based approach reduces anxiety about identity flux and allows the brain to complete its reorganization without resistance.

Shadow Journal Prompts:

  1. What Is Rising in MeThe Sun enters Aries, marking the astrological New Year and a time of rebirth. As the season turns and the light returns, what in me is ready to rise? What wants to push through the soil, meet the Sun, and claim new life? Not a plan—just a felt sense of what’s awakening.
  2. The Old Self I’m Ready to ReleaseSun conjunct Neptune dissolves old identities to make way for new vision. What version of myself feels like it’s softening, loosening, or dissolving? Not through force, but through natural expansion. If I trusted this dissolution, what new vision of purpose might be trying to emerge from the space it’s clearing?
  3. The Message That’s Finally LandedMercury stations direct on the North Node, delivering the retrograde’s clarity. Looking back over these weeks of retrograde, what am I now understanding that I couldn’t see before? Not a logical conclusion—a felt knowing. What message has finally arrived?
  4. Where Insight Wants to Become ActionMercury conjunct Mars bridges inner truth with instinctive movement. What one thing do I now understand clearly? And what one small step feels instinctively aligned with that understanding? Not the whole plan—just the next right thing. How can I honor both the knowing and the doing?
  5. A Letter to the Self at the End of This SeasonAries season will bring vision, structure, healing, and new beginnings. Write a letter to yourself on April 19th, when the Sun enters Taurus and this fiery initiation settles into something more grounded. What do you hope will have been born in you by then? What courage do you trust you’ll have claimed? What new identity do you sense will be ready to root?

* Mars (Pisces) trine Jupiter (Cancer)

Mars Trine Jupiter — Instinct Aligned with Emotional Truth

Today, we arrive at a chapter in a story that began nearly 19 months ago. Mars in Pisces forms a closing trine to Jupiter in Cancer, marking a part in the integration point of a two-year cycle that opened on August 14th, 2024. Because Jupiter rules Mars in Pisces, Mars is not just harmoniously connected to Jupiter—it is answering directly to Jupiter’s emotional, intuitive, and expansive guidance.

This trine is not only supportive, but also instructive. It reveals what the last 19 months have been teaching us, about courage, emotional truth, and the actions required to grow beyond old behaviors and patterns.

A Minor Grand Trine: The Supportive Structure

At the moment of this trine, Mars participates in a minor grand trine—a supportive geometric configuration that includes:

  • Jupiter in Cancer (exalted) — emotional wisdom, intuitive expansion, nurturing guidance
  • The Taurus Moon (exalted) — steady, grounded, self-regulating emotional presence
  • Mercury in Pisces (freshly direct) — the interpreter of subtle guidance, now moving forward
  • The North Node in Pisces — the evolutionary pull, karmic direction

This aspect pattern creates a stabilizing, emotionally grounded field that channels fated insight directly into Mars’ instinctive awareness. The Taurus Moon acts as the anchor, Jupiter as the emotional guide, Mercury as the interpreter of subtle knowing, and the North Node as the pull toward growth—while Mars becomes the agent of change, responding to all four at once.

This energy whispers: You are ready to act differently because you finally feel differently—and now you understand why.

Mars’ Aspects: An Instinctive Update

Mars in Pisces is energetically charged—with a sextile to the exalted Taurus Moon, conjunct Mercury (now direct), the North Node, as well as a trine Jupiter in Cancer—each offering a distinct layer of guidance. The Moon brings emotional grounding, clarity, and self-regulation; Mercury and the North Node illuminate direction, purpose, and aligned action; and Jupiter offers emotional wisdom, intuitive expansion, and trust in the process. This cluster of aspects shows that Mars is undergoing a profound psychological and instinctive update. Old behaviors that once felt protective now feel restrictive. The conjunction to Mercury and the North Node brings clarity about what actions no longer align, what fears have been holding us back, what new direction is calling us forward, and what instinctive patterns are ready to dissolve. Because the Taurus Moon is ruled by Venus—currently conjunct Chiron in Aries—this moment also touches on deep wounds around our desire, self-worth, and the right to pursue what we want. We can feel the deep psychological impact of our choices. We can feel exactly where we’ve held ourselves back. And now, Mars is learning to act from courage rather than fear, and to work from intuition rather than avoidance.

The Taurus Moon: Emotional Grounding and Psychological Insights

The Moon in Taurus is exalted—steady, self-regulating, and deeply grounded. It sextiles Mercury, Mars, and the North Node in Pisces, helping us understand our emotional responses with more clarity and compassion, while its sextile to Jupiter strengthens emotional wisdom and intuitive knowing. This configuration asks us to look beneath the surface of our reactions and inquire: What is the deeper meaning behind what we feel? At the same time, the Moon is square Pluto in Aquarius, adding depth, perception, and psychological excavation. This square helps us see what is hidden beneath the surface—what we’re afraid of, what inspires or empowers us, what lights us up, what keeps us stuck, and what we’re ready to transform. This is a moment of emotional honesty, one that ultimately leads to instinctive liberation.

The Deeper Meaning of This Moment

This closing trine marks a turning point where courage rises from emotional truth, old protective behaviors begin to dissolve, instinct aligns with intuition, fear gives way to possibility, and the next step becomes clear through feeling rather than force. It’s a moment to ask ourselves the meaning behind our reactions—and instead choose something more aligned. This is a moment of profound growth, where we realize we’re ready to act differently because we’ve changed internally, we are evolving.

Reflection Questions for This Energy

Take time with these questions today. They are here to help work with the emotional intensity and understanding of this supportive trine for meaningful forward momentum:

  • What are my beliefs about what will happen if I act differently?
  • What am I afraid will unfold if I pursue what I truly desire?
  • When did I first learn to hold myself back?
  • What happened the last time I trusted my instincts?
  • What would shift if I believed I was safe to go after what I want?
  • What wounds or beliefs make it hard to put myself first?
  • Do I trust myself enough to take the next step?

What This Feels Like: A quiet but unmistakable sense that you’re ready to move forward. Old fears losing their grip. Emotional clarity that feels grounded, not floaty. The sense that you understand, perhaps for the first time, what courage actually feels like in your body. And beneath it all, a steady knowing: I am ready to act from my authentic truth.

Healing Mantra:

“I am ready to act from courage, not fear. My instincts are being rewired by emotional truth. I trust what I feel, and I move forward aligned with my becoming.”

The Mars-Jupiter Cycle

The Mars–Jupiter cycle expands your courage, conviction, and willingness to take meaningful risks, showing how your actions grow when aligned with your deeper beliefs. Its purpose is to strengthen faith in your own direction—revealing where boldness, emotional truth, and inspired action can open doors that discipline alone cannot.

Healing Opportunities & Actionable Steps:

1. Rewiring Instincts Through Emotional Truth

Aligned with Mars trine Jupiter — the integration of a 19-month cycle.

  • Positive Expression: Feeling old protective behaviors lose their grip as emotional wisdom takes their place. Instincts are being updated—you’re learning to act from courage, not fear. Trusting what you feel becomes your new default.
  • Shadow Expression: Clinging to old reactions because they’re familiar, even when they no longer serve you. Mistaking the discomfort of change for danger. Repeating patterns instead of trusting the update.
  • Actionable Step: Create an “Old Instinct vs. New Truth” log. Draw two columns. Left side: “Old instinct I notice rising (fear-based reaction).” Right side: “What emotional truth wants me to know instead.” Each time you catch an old pattern today, write it down and reframe it. For example: “Old instinct: I should shrink to stay safe. New truth: I am safe when I take up space.” This actively rewires the neural pathway from fear to courage.

2. Excavating What Lies Beneath Emotional Reactions

Aligned with Taurus Moon square Pluto — psychological depth and hidden truth.

  • Positive Expression: Seeing beneath the surface of your emotions—understanding why you react the way you do. What’s hidden becomes visible, and visibility brings freedom. Emotional honesty leads to liberation.
  • Shadow Expression: Staying on the surface, avoiding the discomfort of deep inquiry. Letting fear of what you might find keep you from looking. Repeating the same emotional patterns without understanding their root.
  • Actionable Step: Conduct a “Pluto Excavation” journal session. Sit with these questions, writing without editing: “What am I afraid would happen if I stopped reacting this way? When did I first learn to protect myself like this? What is this emotion actually trying to tell me about what I need or value?” Let the answers come from deep within. This is not about fixing—it’s about seeing. And seeing is the first step toward liberation.

3. Trusting the Grounded Wisdom of the Body

Aligned with Taurus Moon sextile Mars, Mercury, and the North Node — emotional grounding and clarity.

  • Positive Expression: Feeling your emotions with steadiness rather than overwhelm. The body becomes a source of wisdom—grounded, self-regulating, and clear. You trust what you feel because you’re rooted enough to receive it.
  • Shadow Expression: Dismissing bodily knowing as “not enough.” Staying in your head, disconnected from the grounding wisdom of your body. Emotional overwhelm without the anchor of physical presence.
  • Actionable Step: Practice “Body as Anchor.” Throughout the day, pause and check in with your physical body. Place your feet flat on the floor. Feel your breath moving. Ask: “What do I feel in my body right now—not in my mind, but in my body?” Notice sensations without judging them. Let the body’s grounded wisdom inform your emotional understanding. The Taurus Moon reminds us that feeling safe in our bodies is the foundation for everything else.

4. Honoring the Wound Behind the Want

Aligned with Venus (ruler of Taurus Moon) conjunct Chiron in Aries — desire and self-worth wounds surfacing.

  • Positive Expression: Recognizing that what you want—and what you believe you deserve—can be shaped by old wounds. Seeing this with compassion allows healing. Your desires become cleaner, truer, less burdened by the past.
  • Shadow Expression: Letting old wounds dictate what you allow yourself to want. Shrinking your desires because somewhere you learned you weren’t worthy. Staying small to stay safe.
  • Actionable Step: Complete the “Desire and Wound” reflection. Journal: “What is one thing I truly desire? Now, gently: What wound or belief has made it hard for me to claim this? What would I need to heal, even a little, to feel more worthy of pursuing it?” Then write one compassionate sentence to the wounded part of you: “I see you. You are allowed to want. You are worthy of what you desire.”

Psychology Fact:

Psychology Fact:  “Neuroplasticity” & The Updating of Implicit Memory
Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. Implicit memory—the unconscious memory that drives automatic behaviors, emotional reactions, and “instincts”—is particularly malleable when we bring conscious awareness to it. Research shows that simply noticing an automatic reaction without judgment, and then intentionally choosing a different response, weakens the old neural pathway and strengthens a new one over time. This is how instincts are literally rewired. Relevance: Mars trine Jupiter is updating fear-based instincts into courage-based responses. The shadow is reacting automatically from old implicit memory without conscious intervention. The healing is to notice the old pattern and intentionally choose differently, rewiring the brain one choice at a time. Actionable Insight: Practice The 3-Second Pause before reacting. When you feel an old instinct rising—fear, withdrawal, people-pleasing, control—pause for three full breaths. This interrupts the automatic pathway. Then ask: “What would courage choose here?” Even if you can’t fully embody it yet, the pause itself begins to rewire the circuit. Journal each instance to reinforce the new learning.

Shadow Journal Prompts:

  1. The Old Instinct I’m Ready to ReleaseMars trine Jupiter updates our instinctive patterns after 19 months of growth. What is one fear-based reaction or protective behavior I notice still rising in me—even though I sense it no longer serves? If I could replace it with one new instinct rooted in courage and emotional truth, what would that look like?
  2. What Lies Beneath My Emotional SurfaceTaurus Moon square Pluto invites psychological excavation and depth. Pick one recurring emotional reaction—anger, withdrawal, people-pleasing, control, fear. Gently ask: When did I first learn to react this way? What was this reaction trying to protect? And now, what is it actually telling me about what I truly need or value?
  3. The Wisdom My Body Holds– Taurus Moon sextile Mars, Mercury, and the North Node grounds insight in the body. Sit quietly for a moment and bring awareness to your body. Not your thoughts—your physical body. What sensations are present? Warmth, tightness, ease, flutter? If your body could speak, what would it say about how you’re really feeling right now? What wisdom is it holding that your mind hasn’t yet caught?
  4. The Desire I’ve Been Afraid to ClaimVenus conjunct Chiron in Aries (ruling the Taurus Moon) touches wounds around worth and want. What is one desire I’ve secretly held but been afraid to fully claim—because somewhere I learned I wasn’t worthy, it wasn’t practical, or it would upset someone? If I believed, even for a moment, that I deserved it, what would shift?
  5. The Courage I Didn’t Know I Was BuildingMars trine Jupiter closes a 19-month cycle of growth and instinctive update. Looking back over the past 19 months, what moments stand out where you acted with more courage than you realized you had—times you kept going, chose yourself, or trusted something deeper than fear? How has that quiet, cumulative courage prepared you for who you’re becoming now?

* Sun conjunct Neptune (Aries)

Sun Conjunct Neptune — The Vision of Self Is Born

Today, we step into a rare moment—one that hasn’t been felt in this sign since 1874. The Sun meets Neptune in Aries, fusing our identity, purpose, and vitality with imagination, dreams, and the dissolving power of something greater than ourselves. This is not a subtle transit. It is a generational moment of visionary ignition, a personal quest if you will, that carries collective weight.

The Sun represents who we are, what we’re becoming, and the light we’re here to shine. Neptune represents the dream or vision that calls us forward, the ideals that inspire us, and the dissolution of everything that stands between us and our truth. When they meet in Aries—the sign of selfhood, instinct, courage, and new beginnings—the old self dissolves so a new, more inspired, more soul-aligned identity can emerge in its place.

This is the first step in a larger identity rebirth unfolding throughout Aries season. And it’s important to remember: we are all feeling this energy, each in our own unique way, together.

Vision Meets Identity

This conjunction fuses the Sun’s purpose with Neptune’s vision, creating a surge of inspiration, creativity, and intuitive knowing. Aries brings the “I am” energy—raw identity, instinct, and the courage to begin again. Neptune dissolves outdated ego structures, especially those that once kept us small, compliant, or disconnected from our true desires and authentic being.

Together, they create a moment where:

  • A new vision of self is born
  • Old egoic patterns dissolve
  • Inspiration becomes fuel for action
  • Purpose begins to align with imagination

This is not about having all the answers. It’s about receiving a glimpse—a felt sense, an image, a knowing—of who we’re becoming. And then having the courage to trust it.

The Responsibility: Saturn Follows Immediately

Right after the Sun meets Neptune, it moves into a conjunction with Saturn in Aries in a few days. This sequence is crucial. Neptune dissolves the old identity; the Sun awakens the new one; and Saturn gives it structure, discipline, and form.

This means the vision or ideal self we receive today is not meant to stay ethereal—it’s meant to be built upon. Saturn demands responsibility, commitment, and maturity around the new identity that is emerging. This is where inspiration becomes intention, and intention becomes action.

The dream you receive today is asking you to take it seriously.

The Outer-Planet Minor Grand Trine: A Reality Shift

This Sun–Neptune moment activates a long-running minor grand trine involving the outer planets—a configuration that has been reshaping collective reality for some time:

  • Neptune and Saturn in Aries — the dream and the structure, the vision and the commitment, working together
  • Uranus in Taurus — liberation from old values and identity constraints, breaking free from what no longer fits
  • Pluto in Aquarius — deep transformation, the death of the old self, the emergence of something new—the butterfly emerging from the chrysalis or the phoenix rising

These three outer planets are dissolving old structures, innovating new systems, and transforming identity at both personal and societal levels. The Sun’s involvement means your personal purpose is now woven into this larger evolutionary moment. What you’re becoming is inseparable from what the world is becoming. Your purpose, your part in the larger story, and the medicine you carry is needed now—because you are, and have always been, part of something greater.

Mars as Ruler: Direction, Courage, and Emotional Grounding

The Sun is ruled by Mars, currently in Pisces—and Mars is beautifully supported:

  • Conjunct the North Node — fated direction, our calling toward fulfillment
  • Conjunct Mercury (freshly direct) — clarity after the retrograde, mind and instinct working together
  • Sextile the Taurus Moon — emotional grounding, stability, self-regulation
  • Trine Jupiter in Cancer — growth through emotional truth, expansion through feeling

This supportive energy says our instincts are being recalibrated. Our direction is becoming clearer. Our actions are being guided by a deeper knowing. And we are grounding in emotional honesty to provide fuel for transformative growth.

Even if the path feels foggy, the inner pull is unmistakably there.

The Second Minor Grand Trine: The Lotus Rising

We are still feeling the water–earth minor grand trine from yesterday—a configuration that offers profound support:

  • Taurus Moon — grounding what we feel, steady emotional presence
  • Mars in Pisces — instinctual intuition, direction, soul-level knowing
  • Jupiter in Cancer — fertilizing and growing what is ready to bloom

This is the “lotus in the mud” energy—growth through emotional depth, intuition, and grounded self-trust. It reminds us, that transformation often feels messy before it feels meaningful. But something beautiful is emerging from the process.

We are the lotus.

The Meaning of Sun Conjunct Neptune in Aries

This transit is a moment where a new vision of self is being born, old egoic patterns dissolve, and inspiration begins to fuse with purpose. Courage merges with imagination, fears begin to lose their grip, and dedication naturally follows the inspiration that is rising up within us. Our identity is shifting toward something more authentic—something that feels more us than who we’ve been before. It is a spiritually creative ignition point, one that asks us to have faith, to trust the vision arriving even as it’s still forming, and to prepare to build it with Saturn’s help in the days ahead.

What This Feels Like: A glimpse of who you’re becoming—felt more than seen. The dissolution of an old identity that no longer fits. A surge of inspiration that feels both exciting and tender. The sense that you’re being guided toward something, even if you can’t name it yet. And beneath it all, a quiet knowing: This matters. This is real. This is me.

Healing Mantra:

“I receive the vision of my becoming. I trust what dissolves and what emerges. My purpose is weaving with something larger than me. I am the lotus, rising.”

The Sun-Neptune Cycle

The Sun–Neptune cycle dissolves outdated ego patterns so a more spiritually aligned, imaginative, and soul‑guided expression of self can emerge. Its purpose is to merge identity with vision—awakening inspiration, compassion, and a deeper sense of purpose that comes from intuition rather than will alone.

Aligned with Sun conjunct Neptune in Aries — a new vision of self is born.

  • Positive Expression: A glimpse of who you’re becoming—felt more than seen. Inspiration that arrives as a quiet knowing, an image, a longing. Trusting that this vision is real, even before it’s fully formed.
  • Shadow Expression: Dismissing the vision because it’s not yet clear or logical. Waiting for a fully developed plan before you’ll trust it. Mistaking the subtlety of the download for insignificance.
  • Actionable Step: Create a “Vision Capture” practice. Today, carry a small notebook or use your phone notes. Throughout the day, notice any images, feelings, or longings that feel like glimpses of who you’re becoming. Write them down immediately—no editing, no judging. At day’s end, read through them and notice the thread. This is Neptune’s gift: a vision delivered in whispers. Your job is simply to receive.

2. Allowing Old Egoic Patterns to Dissolve

Aligned with Neptune dissolving outdated identity structures in Aries.

  • Positive Expression: Feeling old patterns—people-pleasing, performing, proving, shrinking—lose their grip. Not through force, but through natural expansion. The relief of no longer needing to be who you once were.
  • Shadow Expression: Clinging to familiar patterns because they’re comfortable, even when they no longer fit. Resisting the dissolution, mistaking it for loss rather than liberation. Letting ego fight to stay in control.
  • Actionable Step: Conduct a “Pattern Release” ritual. Write down one old egoic pattern you sense dissolving (“I need to be perfect to be accepted,” “I must shrink in order to stay safe,” “My worth depends on what I can offer”). Read it aloud. Then say: “I release you with gratitude. You kept me safe once. I no longer need you.” Tear the paper, burn it, or place it in water to dissolve. This symbolic act engages the body and emotion in the release Neptune is already facilitating.

3. Fusing Courage with Imagination

Aligned with Aries (courage) and Neptune (imagination) merging in the Sun.

  • Positive Expression: Feeling your desires and dreams become actionable—no longer just fantasies, but felt possibilities. Courage rises to meet imagination. You begin to believe that what you envision could actually be real.
  • Shadow Expression: Keeping your dreams safely in the realm of “someday” to avoid the vulnerability of actually pursuing them. Letting fear separate imagination from action.
  • Actionable Step: Complete the “Courage + Imagination” bridge. In your journal, draw two columns. Left side: “What my imagination is showing me (the dream).” Right side: “What courage would look like here (one small step toward it).” For each dream fragment, identify one tiny, brave action—even symbolic. Then take one of those steps today. This weaves Neptune’s vision with Aries’ courage.

4. Preparing to Build What You’ve Envisioned

Aligned with the Sun moving toward Saturn — vision meeting structure.

  • Positive Expression: Sensing that the dream you’re receiving is not meant to stay ethereal—it’s meant to be built. Feeling a quiet readiness to take it seriously, to commit, to give it form.
  • Shadow Expression: Staying in the dream phase indefinitely, avoiding the dedication it takes to build it. Treating the vision as beautiful but impractical. Resisting Saturn’s call to mature the inspiration.
  • Actionable Step: Create a “Vision to Structure” intention. Write: “The vision I am being called to is ________. I sense it’s asking me to take it seriously. In the coming days, as the Sun meets Saturn, I will be ready to give it form. For now, I simply say: I am willing.” This prepares your psyche for the Saturn conjunction ahead, transforming passive reception into active readiness.

Psychology Fact:

Psychology Fact: Implementation Intentions & The Transition from Fantasy to Reality
Research on fantasy realization (Oettingen) distinguishes between indulgent fantasy (enjoying the positive future without considering obstacles) and mental contrasting (imagining the desired future while realistically considering current reality). Mental contrasting, followed by implementation intentions (if-then plans), is the most effective strategy for turning fantasy into reality. It activates the brain’s problem-solving networks rather than just its reward centers. Relevance: The Sun moves toward Saturn after Neptune—vision meeting structure. The shadow is staying in indulgent fantasy, avoiding the dedication it takes to build. The healing is to engage in mental contrasting and create if-then plans that bridge vision and reality. Action: Use the “WOOP” protocol (Oettingen’s Wish, Outcome, Obstacle, Plan):
* Wish: What vision wants to become real? (“I want to be more creative and authentic in how I present myself.”)
* Outcome: What will it feel like when this is real? (vividly imagine)
* Obstacle: What internal obstacle stands in the way? (fear, old belief, pattern)
* Plan: “If [obstacle], then I will [action].”
* Example: (“If I feel the fear of being seen, or feel I’m not good enough, then I will take one small brave step anyway”)
This evidence-based protocol transforms Neptune’s vision into Saturn-ready structure.

Shadow Journal Prompts:

  1. The Glimpse of Who I’m BecomingSun conjunct Neptune offers a vision of self—felt more than seen. In quiet moments today, what images, feelings, or longings arise that feel like a glimpse of who I’m becoming? Not who I should be—who I could be. Write without editing, without judging. Let the vision speak in its own language.
  2. The Egoic Pattern I Sense DissolvingNeptune dissolves outdated identity structures in Aries. What old pattern—people-pleasing, fear, performing, proving, shrinking, controlling—feels like it’s losing its grip? Not through force, but through natural growth in who I’ve become. If I could thank this pattern for how it once protected me, what would I say? And what am I ready to become without it?
  3. Where Courage Wants to Meet My Imagination– Aries and Neptune fuse courage with dream. What is one desire, dream, or vision have I’ve kept in my mind as a possibility, such as “someday”? If courage rose to meet my imagination today, what is one tiny, brave step I could take toward it—even symbolic, even imperfect? What would it feel like to let my courage and dreams finally dance together?
  4. The Vision That Asks to Be Taken Seriously– Sun moves toward Saturn after Neptune—vision meets structure. Of all the possibilities I’ve received lately, which one feels like it’s asking for more than just admiration—it’s asking to be built? What would it mean to take this vision seriously? Not to have it all figured out, but to simply say: “I am willing to commit to this becoming.”
  5. The Part of Me That’s Ready to LeadThis conjunction births a new, more authentic identity rooted in courage. Think of a situation or area of your life where you’ve been waiting—for permission, for certainty, for the “right” moment. If the emerging self you’re becoming were already standing in that situation, how would they show up differently? What would that new self say, do, or trust that you haven’t allowed or accepted yourself to do? Write from their perspective, as if they’re already here.
