A Weekly Astrological Look Ahead with Soul-Work Journal Prompts, Healing Opportunities, as well as Actionable Steps to Work with the Energy.
Hey Soul Seekers,
I hope you’re feeling more settled after the intensity of the Virgo Lunar Eclipse. I’ll be honest—its energy landed hard for me, leaving me super drained and even contemplating a short sabbatical to replenish. If I decide to take that pause, I’ll keep things concise and let you know ahead of time. I promise I won’t be gone long.
This week offers a gentler pace—but no less meaningful. Mercury retrograde meets Jupiter for the second of three trines, deepening the emotional understanding we’ve been moving through. Venus sextiles Pluto, activating the first real momentum from a cycle seeded in January. Jupiter stations direct in Cancer, turning our internal growth outward. And Mars conjoins the North Node in Pisces, activating the eclipse’s forward pull—soon to be joined by Mercury retrograde for a powerful Yod release.
A lot is moving beneath the surface. Be gentle with yourself as it does.
Wishing you a week filled with quiet understanding and a deep, steady trust in your own path.

Day by Day Breakdown
The Astrology for Monday March 9th, 2026
* Mercury Rx (Pisces) closing trine Jupiter Rx (Cancer)
Mercury Trine Jupiter — The Deeper Knowing Rises
Today, we arrive at the second of three meetings between Mercury retrograde in Pisces and Jupiter retrograde in Cancer—a quiet but profound integration point in the retrograde story. This is a soft unfolding, a moment where meaning crystallizes, where our insight becomes accessible, and where the deeper purpose of this entire retrograde cycle begins to reveal itself.
Think of it as the “now I see what this is really about” moment—arriving not through logic, but through resonance, memory, and inner truth.
The Ruler Speaks: Jupiter’s Steady Wisdom
Because Jupiter rules Pisces and is exalted in Cancer, it serves as the source of the emotional and spiritual wisdom Mercury is now receiving. Jupiter retrograde in Cancer is reflective, wise, and deeply attuned to the emotional body. It’s not expanding outward right now—it’s expanding inward, helping us to access the kind of knowing that lives in our memory, in the body, in the quiet spaces between our thoughts.
Mercury, in detriment in Pisces and turned inward through retrograde motion, has been trying to move through these waters, where our logic seems to dissolve and our intuition seems to take over. Today, Jupiter offers a steady hand—a felt message, a soft inner knowing, a deep resonance that can only be arrived in perfect timing, after weeks of unraveling.
What’s Being Integrated
This trine is a closing trine, which means we’re in the integration phase of a cycle that began with the first trine on February 16th and will complete on April 3rd, when both planets are direct. Today is the middle passage—the deepening, the clarification, the moment where the retrograde’s purpose becomes more tangible.
Mercury is still carrying the illumination of last week’s inferior cazimi with the Sun, so there’s a purified quality to the insights arising now. It’s also trine the Scorpio Moon, adding depth, honesty, and psychological resonance—this is not surface-level understanding. And Mercury is moving toward the North Node, reactivating the eclipse storyline and helping us integrate what the Virgo Lunar Eclipse revealed about what we’re ready to release.
This is the moment where old Virgo South Node patterns—perfectionism, over-analysis, self-criticism—begin to truly dissolve. Not because we’ve fought them, but because we finally understand where they are holding us back. We see why they were established in the first place, what they were protecting, and why we no longer need them in the same way. We have outgrown their protection!
The Emotional Texture
This transit asks nothing of us except receptivity. It’s not about doing—it’s about receiving. Receiving the insight that’s been forming beneath the surface. Receiving the emotional clarity that only comes when we stop forcing. Receiving the quiet knowing that we’re beginning to understand our path in a new way.
We may find ourselves:
- Suddenly understanding a pattern we’ve been circling for weeks
- Feeling emotional clarity about a situation that’s felt confusing
- Receiving an intuitive hit through a dream, a memory, or a quiet moment
- Sensing that something old has loosened its grip, even if we can’t name it yet
This is Jupiter’s gift—not answers, but understanding. Not certainty, but trust.
What This Feels Like
A quiet “aha” that arrives not as a thought, but as a felt shift. The sense that something you’ve been trying to understand is finally making sense—not intellectually, but viscerally. A softening in a place that’s been tight. Tears that come not from sadness, but from the relief of being understood—by yourself, by something larger. The quiet, steady knowing that you’re exactly where you need to be in this unraveling.
Healing Mantra:
“I receive the wisdom rising from within. I understand now what I couldn’t see before. I trust the slow, soft unfolding of my becoming.”
The Mercury-Jupiter Cycle
The Mercury–Jupiter cycle expands the mind’s capacity to understand meaning, helping you connect details with the bigger picture and translate intuition into insight. Its purpose is to open your thinking, deepen perspective, and align your decisions with a wiser, more spacious sense of truth and possibility.

Healing Opportunities with Actionable Steps:
1. Receiving the Retrograde’s Deeper Purpose
Aligned with Mercury Rx (Pisces) trine Jupiter Rx (Cancer) — the second of three integrations.
- Positive Expression: A quiet “now I get it” moment about what this retrograde has been teaching you. Understanding the emotional meaning behind recent unravelings. Clarity that arrives as a felt sense, not a logical conclusion.
- Shadow Expression: Forcing insight before it’s ready. Dismissing the subtle knowing because it’s not dramatic enough. Staying stuck in “I still don’t understand” when understanding is actually landing intuitively.
- Actionable Step: Create a “Retrograde Reflection Log.” Today, set aside 15 quiet minutes. Write down: “What I now understand about this retrograde that I didn’t see before…” Let the answers come as fragments, feelings, or images. Don’t force coherence. At the end, read it back and notice the thread of wisdom that’s been weaving itself beneath the surface.
2. Letting Old Virgo Patterns Truly Dissolve
Aligned with Mercury (ruler of the South Node in Virgo) receiving Jupiter’s wisdom.
- Positive Expression: Feeling perfectionism, self-criticism, and over-analysis loosen their grip—not because you fought them, but because you finally understand why they were there and why you no longer need them.
- Shadow Expression: Intellectualizing the release without feeling it. Nodding along to “I release perfectionism” while the inner critic continues its quiet tyranny in the background.
- Actionable Step: Write a “Letter of Release” to an old pattern. Address it directly. For example: “Dear Perfectionism, I see now that you were trying to protect me from __________. Thank you for your service. But I no longer need you to keep me safe. I release you with gratitude.” Speak it aloud after writing. This engages emotion, not just intellect, in the release.
3. Trusting Intuitive Knowing Over Mental Noise
Aligned with Mercury in detriment in Pisces, softened and slowed by retrograde.
- Positive Expression: Quieting the mental noise and trusting what you feel rather than what you can prove. Letting inner knowing guide you, even when it doesn’t make logical sense.
- Shadow Expression: Dismissing intuition as “not enough” and waiting for logical proof that never comes. Overriding gut feelings with overthinking.
- Actionable Step: Practice “The Intuitive Final Answer.” For any question or decision you’re sitting with, take three slow breaths. Then ask: “If I had to answer right now, without thinking, what does my gut say?” Write the first thing that comes—even if it’s just a word, an image, a feeling. Then, for the rest of the day, notice how often that first impulse turns out to be true. This builds trust in your intuitive channel.
4. Integrating Eclipse Wisdom Through Emotional Resonance
Aligned with Mercury moving toward the North Node, reactivating the eclipse storyline.
- Positive Expression: Feeling the emotional meaning behind what the Virgo Lunar Eclipse revealed. Understanding not just what you released, but why it mattered for your growth.
- Shadow Expression: Moving on from the eclipse without integration. Treating the release as an event rather than a process. Missing the emotional wisdom because you’re focused on “what’s next.”
- Actionable Step: Conduct an “Eclipse Wisdom Harvest.” Return to any journaling or reflections from the March 3rd Virgo Lunar Eclipse. Ask: “What did I release that day? And now, a week later, what am I beginning to understand about why that release mattered?” Write without forcing. Then complete this sentence: “The wisdom I’m carrying forward from that eclipse is __________.” This active harvesting honors Jupiter’s invitation to integrate, not just experience.
Psychology Fact:
Psychology Fact: “Cognitive Defusion” & The Observing Self
Cognitive defusion (ACT) is the practice of separating from thoughts, observing them as mental events rather than literal truths. The observing self—the part of awareness that can witness thoughts without becoming entangled—is associated with greater psychological flexibility and reduced suffering. Research shows that simply labeling thoughts (“I notice I’m having the thought that I’m not enough”) reduces their emotional impact and weakens their grip. Relevance: Mercury (ruler of the South Node in Virgo) is receiving Jupiter’s wisdom, helping perfectionism and self-criticism dissolve. The shadow is fused with these thoughts, believing them as truth. The healing is to practice defusion—to observe the inner critic without becoming it. Use the “I Notice” protocol. Throughout the day, when the inner critic speaks, silently add the preface: “I notice I’m having the thought that ________.” For example: “I notice I’m having the thought that I should be further along.” This simple linguistic shift activates the observing self, creating space between you and the thought. Over time, this weakens the neural pathway of self-criticism.
Shadow Journal Prompts:
- What I’m Beginning to Understand Now– Mercury trine Jupiter marks the “now I see what this is really about” moment. Looking back over the past few weeks—the retrograde’s unraveling, the eclipse’s release, the quiet shifts beneath the surface—what am I beginning to understand now that I couldn’t see before? Not a logical conclusion, but an emotional knowing. Let it arrive softly.
- The Pattern That’s Loosening Its Grip– Mercury (ruler of the South Node) receives Jupiter’s wisdom, dissolving old Virgo patterns. What old pattern—perfectionism, self-criticism, over-analysis, the need to prove—feels like it’s loosening its hold on me? Not because I fought it, but because I finally understand it differently. What was it trying to protect? What am I ready to become without it?
- A Message From My Intuitive Self– Mercury in Pisces speaks through feeling, not logic. If I quiet my thinking mind and drop into my body, what does my intuition want me to know right now? It may not come as words—it may be an image, a sensation, a quiet knowing. Let it take whatever form it needs. Write without forcing.
- The Eclipse Wisdom I’m Now Ready to Receive– Mercury moves toward the North Node, reactivating the eclipse storyline. Return to the Virgo Lunar Eclipse on March 3rd. What did I release that day? Now, a week later, what deeper meaning about that release is beginning to reveal itself? What was that release actually making space for?
- A Letter of Gratitude to This Retrograde– This is the second of three Mercury-Jupiter trines—a deepening of the retrograde’s purpose. Write a short letter to this Mercury retrograde cycle itself. What has it taught you? What has it loosened, cleared, or revealed? What are you grateful for, even if the process was uncomfortable? Let it be a tender acknowledgment of the wisdom you’re now carrying.

Venus Sextile Pluto & Jupiter Stations Direct — Empowerment Takes Root
Today is a moment where our inner work begins to find outer expression, and the seeds planted during the past month or so, start to stir beneath the soil. Venus in Aries forms an opening sextile to Pluto in Aquarius, offering the first real opportunity to empower the new vision she’s been forming. Simultaneously, Jupiter stations direct in Cancer, shifting our collective energy from inward reflection to outward possibility.
This is the day where understanding begins its journey into action.
Venus Sextile Pluto: The Courage to Become
Venus has been busy lately. She crossed Neptune where she dissolved old patterns and created new visions, then met Saturn where she began giving structure to a new dream. Now, Pluto steps in—not to disrupt, but to empower her on her journey. An opening sextile is the “first opportunity” aspect of a cycle that began when Venus and Pluto conjoined on January 20th. It requires conscious effort, but it offers real momentum.
Venus in Aries is freshly awakened—instinctual, courageous, and ready to move toward what feels alive. Pluto in Aquarius supports this by revealing what needs to shift internally so that the new desire can take root. This is subtle but potent empowerment: the kind that comes from choosing authenticity, shedding old relational patterns, and stepping into a more self-directed expression of worth and desire.
The Sagittarius Moon trines Venus, widening her perspective and offering a sense of meaning and possibility. This lunar support helps Venus see the bigger picture of what she’s initiating, rather than getting caught in the immediacy of Aries’ impulse. Venus is also semi-sextile Mars in Pisces, her ruler, creating an instinctive, intuitive undercurrent—she’s feeling her way forward, guided by something deeper than logic. There’s a sense of faithful instinct here, a quiet knowing that the path she’s choosing, is connected to something larger.
This sextile marks the moment Venus begins to apply the changes she envisioned with Neptune and began to structure with Saturn. Pluto offers the courage to transform, the honesty to confront what must evolve, and the empowerment to choose a path aligned with purpose. Venus feels expansive, inspired, and ready to take the first real step toward the new identity she’s forming.
What This Feels Like: A quiet surge of courage. The sense that you’re ready to act on something you’ve been dreaming about. Empowerment that doesn’t shout—it settles into your bones and says, “I can do this.”
Jupiter Stations Direct: The Pivot from Reflection to Movement
After months of inward turning, Jupiter stations direct in Cancer, shifting its energy from internal growth to external possibility. This is a significant pivot—a moment where the emotional wisdom gained during the retrograde begins to orient itself toward the future.
Because Jupiter is ruled by the Moon, and the Moon is in Sagittarius at the moment of the station (a sign ruled by Jupiter), the two enter what is called a mutual reception. This creates a private, reciprocal exchange of energy, as if Jupiter and the Moon are speaking in a shared symbolic language. Jupiter receives emotional guidance from the Moon, and the Moon receives a broader perspective that offers a clear direction from Jupiter, strengthening the intuitive understanding of this moment.
As Jupiter turns direct, it forms a flowing trine to the Pisces Sun, Mercury retrograde, and the North Node—all of which Jupiter rules, since Jupiter is the ruler of Pisces. This alignment reconnects emotional wisdom with spiritual purpose and karmic direction, helping us understand the deeper meaning behind what has unfolded during Jupiter’s retrograde.
The Moon, as Jupiter’s ruler, is simultaneously square Mercury retrograde and the Nodes, creating emotional tension that pushes truth to the surface, while its trine to Chiron in Aries offers healing, courage, and the willingness to grow beyond old emotional patterns.
What This Feels Like: A subtle but distinct shift—the sense that something that’s been brewing internally is now ready to move outward. Understanding about a direction you’ve been questioning. Emotional tension that’s not pressure, but preparation.
The Mercury-Jupiter Story: A Three-Part-Act
This moment is part of a larger narrative. Mercury and Jupiter have been communicating in a three-part trine:
- February 16th (first trine): The meaning and understanding of this conversation was first initiated during Mercury’s pre-retrograde shadow.
- March 9th (second trine, both retrograde): The understanding and meaning went internal, it deepened into the awareness.
- April 3rd (third trine, both direct): The wisdom will fully integrate and find outward expression, now that it has gone through the lesson 3 different times.
Jupiter’s station today marks the turning point in that story—the pivot from internal understanding to external clarity. The insights that were first realized in the first trine and continued to be deepened in the second, will now begin to take shape as Mercury and Jupiter move toward their final, direct-motion meeting.
The Unified Message
Together, these two transits speak a clear, tender truth: you’ve done the inner work. Now it’s time to let it move.
Venus sextile Pluto empowers us to act on the new vision of worth and desire we’ve been forming. Jupiter direct turns our emotional wisdom into outer direction. The understanding we’ve gained during these weeks of reflection is not meant to stay inside—it’s meant to guide us, to shape our next steps, to become the compass for our becoming.
We don’t need to have it all figured out. We just need to trust that what’s been growing beneath the surface is ready to meet the light.
Healing Mantra:
“I am empowered to act on what I’ve come to understand. My inner wisdom now becomes my outer direction. I trust the slow, sacred unfolding of my becoming.”
The Venus-Pluto Cycle
The Venus–Pluto cycle strips away outdated patterns around love, desire, and self‑worth so you can relate from a place of truth rather than fear or habit. Its purpose is to catalyze deep emotional transformation, empowering you to choose relationships, values, and creative paths that reflect your most authentic self.
| Date | Phase | Significance |
|---|---|---|
| Jan 20, 2026 | Conjunction (Aquarius) | Cycle Begins: A new seed of empowerment in love and worth is planted. |
| Mar 10, 2026 | Opening Sextile (Aries/Aquarius) | First Opportunity: Conscious effort meets momentum; empowerment begins to take root. |
| Apr 3, 2026 | Opening Square (Taurus/Aquarius) | Challenge: Practical realities test the new vision. |
| Jun 17, 2026 | Opposition (Leo/Aquarius) | Culmination: Relationships and creativity mirror empowerment. |
| Sep 15, 2026 | Closing Square (Scorpio/Aquarius) | Final Test: Deep emotional truth challenges authentic expression. |
| Mar 6, 2027 | New Conjunction (Aquarius) | New Cycle: Embodying the fully integrated, empowered self. |
Healing Opportunities with Actionable Steps:
1. Empowering the New Vision of Self-Worth
Aligned with Venus sextile Pluto (opening sextile of a new cycle).
- Positive Expression: Feeling a quiet surge of courage to act on the new vision of love, worth, and desire that’s been forming. Empowerment that settles into your bones and whispers, “I can do this.” Choosing authenticity over approval.
- Shadow Expression: Waiting for external validation before you’ll trust your own empowerment. Letting fear of transformation keep you small. Knowing what needs to change but avoiding the courage to act.
- Actionable Step: Take one “Empowered Action” today. Look at the vision that emerged during Venus’s conjunction with Neptune and began taking structure with Saturn. Identify ONE small, tangible action that moves you toward that vision—something that requires just a little courage, just a little authenticity. Take it. Then journal: “I did that. I am becoming who I’m meant to be.”
2. Turning Inner Wisdom into Outer Direction
Aligned with Jupiter stationing direct in Cancer — the pivot from reflection to movement.
- Positive Expression: Feeling the emotional wisdom gained during Jupiter’s retrograde now orienting itself toward the future. Clarity about a direction you’ve been questioning. The sense that inner growth is ready to become outer expression.
- Shadow Expression: Staying stuck in reflection mode, treating the retrograde’s insights as interesting but not actionable. Waiting for perfect clarity before you’ll move. Mistaking the comfort of inwardness for that of growth.
- Actionable Step: Create a “Wisdom to Direction” map. On one side of a page, list 3-5 key insights or understandings that emerged during Jupiter’s retrograde (since November 2025). On the other side, for each insight, write: “This wisdom is now pointing me toward ________.” Let the answers come intuitively. Then choose ONE direction to take a small step toward this week.
3. Integrating the Three-Part-Act In Mercury-Jupiter’s Story
Aligned with Jupiter’s station as the turning point in the Mercury-Jupiter trine series.
- Positive Expression: Sensing how the insights from the first trine (Feb 16) deepened in the second (Mar 9) and are now ready to take shape. Understanding that this is a process, not an event. Trusting the unfolding.
- Shadow Expression: Impatience for the final trine (Apr 3) to arrive. Dismissing the middle passage as “not there yet.” Missing the significance of this pivot point because you’re focused on the destination.
- Actionable Step: Conduct a “Three-Part-Act Review.” In your journal, create three sections:
- Act I (Feb 16): What was first understood?
- Act II (Mar 9, yesterday): What deepened or crystallized?
- Act III (April 3): What is ready to take shape?
Write briefly in each section. Then complete: “I am in the middle of a story whose ending I don’t yet know—but I trust its unfolding.”
4. Allowing Emotional Tension to Surface Truth
Aligned with the Moon (ruler of Jupiter) square Mercury and the Nodes, trine Chiron.
- Positive Expression: Emotional tension that doesn’t feel like pressure, but preparation—truth rising to the surface so it can be acknowledged and healed. The willingness to feel what you’ve been avoiding.
- Shadow Expression: Numbing or distracting when emotional intensity arises. Mistaking the surfacing of truth for something “going wrong.” Avoiding the very feelings that are trying to free you.
- Actionable Step: Create a “Feelings First” space. Today, set aside 10 minutes of uninterrupted time. Sit quietly, place a hand on your heart, and ask: “What am I really feeling right now?” Let whatever arises arise—without judgment, without trying to fix it. Write it down. Then ask: “What is this feeling trying to tell me?” Listen. This is the Moon squaring the Nodes, pushing truth to the surface so it can finally be heard.
Psychology Fact:
Psychology Fact: “Self-Efficacy” & The Agency Pathway
Self-efficacy (Bandura) is the belief in one’s ability to succeed in specific situations. It is built through four pathways: mastery experiences (successfully doing things), vicarious learning (seeing others succeed), social persuasion (encouragement), and emotional/physiological states (feeling calm and capable). Mastery experiences are the most powerful—each small success builds neural pathways of confidence. Research shows that self-efficacy predicts not just performance, but also resilience, motivation, and well-being. Relevance: Venus sextile Pluto offers the “first opportunity” to act on new visions of worth and desire. The shadow is waiting to feel empowered before acting, which puts the cart before the horse. The healing is to take small mastery actions that build self-efficacy from the ground up. Design a “Mastery Ladder.” Identify one area where you want to feel more empowered. Create a 5-step ladder of increasingly challenging actions related to this area: Step 1: The Micro-Opening — write one sentence about what you want; Step 2: The Small Declaration — share your intention with one trusted person; Step 3: The Embodied Stand — hold a boundary or spend 15 minutes on your passion project; Step 4: The Vulnerable Truth — name a need or share your work with a small audience; Step 5: The Full Expression — publicly own your truth or take a significant visible step. Today, take Step 1. After completing it, pause and acknowledge: “I did that. I am building my capacity.” Each rung climbed strengthens the neural circuitry of self-efficacy, proving to your brain that you are capable.
Shadow Journal Prompts:
- The Courage I’m Ready to Claim– Venus sextile Pluto empowers us to act on our new vision. What is one area of my life—love, creativity, self-worth, desire—where I’ve been waiting for permission or validation that only I can give myself? If I stepped into my own empowerment today, what would one courageous, authentic action look like?
- Where My Inner Wisdom Is Pointing Me Now– Jupiter stations direct, turning reflection into direction. Looking back over Jupiter’s retrograde (November 2025–March 2026), what emotional wisdom or understanding have I gained? Now that Jupiter is moving forward, where is that wisdom pointing me? What direction feels intuitively aligned, even if I can’t see the whole path?
- The Middle Passage of My Story– Jupiter’s station marks the turning point in the Mercury-Jupiter three-part-act. I am in the middle of a story whose ending I don’t yet know. Act I (February 16) seeded an understanding. Act II (yesterday, March 9) deepened it. What is emerging now, in this pivot point? What do I sense is trying to take shape, even if it’s not fully formed?
- The Truth My Emotions Are Carrying– The Moon squares Mercury and the Nodes, pushing truth to the surface. What have I been feeling lately that I haven’t fully acknowledged—a tension, a sadness, a longing, a quiet knowing? If I let that feeling speak, what would it say? What truth is it trying to deliver?
- The Threshold I’m Standing At– Jupiter’s station marks a turning point. I am standing at a threshold. Behind me is the inward journey—the reflection, the excavation, the emotional deepening. Ahead is the outward journey—the expression, the movement, the living of what I’ve learned. What am I leaving behind as I cross? What am I carrying with me? What do I sense is waiting on the other side?
Astrology for Friday March 13th, 2026
*Mars conjunct North Node (Pisces)
Mars Conjunct North Node — The Instinctive Pull Toward Destiny
Today, we arrive at a special and significant threshold. Mars, the planet of action, desire, and instinct, meets the North Node in Pisces—beginning a new two-year cycle and activating a direction our souls are meant to grow toward. This is the only time in the next 18 years that Mars will conjoin the North Node in Pisces, making this a singular moment of karmic redirection.
This is not a logical decision. It is an instinctive pull—a deep, wordless knowing that something is asking to move through us, even if we cannot yet see where it leads.
The Ripple Through Aries: What This Conjunction Activates
Mars rules Neptune, Saturn, Chiron, and Venus—all currently in Aries. This means whatever happens to Mars today sends a ripple through every planet in Aries, stirring the entire Aries–Pisces storyline beneath the surface:
- Neptune — the dream, the vision, the dissolution of old patterns
- Saturn — the structure, the commitment, the discipline
- Chiron — the healing of identity and self-worth wounds
- Venus — the desire, the value, the new beginning in love
All of these are being gently but firmly pulled toward a new karmic direction. The North Node in Pisces asks for intuitive listening, soul-level honesty, and the willingness to move toward what feels instinctively aligned rather than logically certain. Today, Mars becomes the vehicle for that movement.
A Bridging Moment: Between Release and Rebirth
This conjunction arrives at a potent crossroads—between the Virgo Lunar Eclipse (which cleared what was no longer aligned) and the upcoming Pisces New Moon (which will seed what’s next). Mars meeting the North Node now acts as a bridge: the eclipse revealed what needed to be released; today’s conjunction shows where the energy wants to flow next.
Pisces teaches us that growth comes not through force, but through surrender, trust, and compassion—especially compassion for ourselves as we step into the unknown. Mars in Pisces is not the warrior charging ahead with a clear plan. It is the instinct that guides us through fog, the pull that keeps us moving even when we cannot see the path.
The Web of Support
At the moment of this conjunction, Mars is:
- Moving toward a conjunction with Mercury retrograde in Pisces, blending instinct with introspection and reactivating the eclipse storyline one final time.
- Semi-sextile Venus in Aries, creating a subtle but potent link between our desires and our direction.
- Trine Jupiter in Cancer, which has just stationed direct and rules this conjunction as the ruler of Pisces. Jupiter’s influence expands Mars’ intuition, strengthens emotional clarity, and supports the sense that something deeply meaningful is taking shape beneath the surface.
Mars also rules Saturn and Neptune in Aries, meaning that even now, Mars is quietly restructuring the dream (Neptune) and the discipline needed to pursue it (Saturn). This moment asks us:
- What are you dreaming?
- What are you building?
- What are you willing to commit to as you step into a new chapter of purpose?
What This Feels Like
A quiet but unmistakable pull toward something you cannot yet name. Restlessness that isn’t anxiety—it’s preparation. A sense that you’re being guided, even when the path is invisible. The feeling of standing at a threshold, not knowing what’s on the other side, but knowing you’re meant to cross.
This is not about having answers. It’s about trusting YOURSELF and the instinct that says: this way.
Healing Mantra:
“I trust the instinct pulling me forward, even when I cannot see the path. I am being guided toward something my soul recognizes. I surrender to the unknown with courage and compassion.”
The Mars-North Node Cycle
The Mars–North Node cycle ignites a new two‑year chapter of instinctive, purpose‑driven action, aligning your will with the direction your soul is trying to grow. Its purpose is to push you toward courageous choices, dissolve old motivations that no longer fit, and propel you onto a path that feels fated, spiritually aligned, and deeply alive.
| Date | Phase | Significance |
|---|---|---|
| Mar 13, 2026 | Conjunction (Pisces) | Cycle Begins: A fated ignition point—instinctive pull toward karmic direction. |
| Jul 2, 2026 | Opening Square (Gemini/Pisces) | Challenge: Information and communication test intuitive direction. |
| Nov 15, 2026 | Opposition (Leo/Aquarius) | Culmination: Creative self-expression and relationships mirror the path. |
| Sep 15, 2027 | Closing Square (Scorpio/Aquarius) | Final Test: Deep emotional truth challenges authentic alignment. |
| Jan 7, 2028 | New Conjunction (Aquarius) | New Cycle: Embodying the integrated, karmically aligned self. |
Healing Opportunities & Actionable Steps:
1. Trusting the Instinctive Pull Without a Clear Plan
Aligned with Mars conjunct North Node in Pisces — karmic direction through instinct, not logic.
- Positive Expression: Feeling a quiet but unmistakable pull toward something you can’t yet explain or justify. Trusting that this instinct is guiding you toward your soul’s next step, even without a roadmap.
- Shadow Expression: Dismissing the pull because it doesn’t make logical sense. Waiting for certainty that never comes. Overthinking yourself out of alignment.
- Actionable Step: Practice “The Body’s Yes.” Today, when you feel that instinctive nudge—toward a person, a choice, a direction—pause and check in with your body. Does it feel expansive, warm, alive? That’s your body’s “yes.” Write down one sentence about what you noticed, even if it doesn’t make logical sense. This builds trust in your instinctive compass.
2. Surrendering Ego-Driven Motivation for Soul-Led Action
Aligned with Mars (ruler of Aries planets) dissolving old motivations through Pisces.
- Positive Expression: Releasing the need to pursue things for recognition, validation, or control. Letting your actions flow from inner truth rather than outer expectation. Feeling the freedom of moving from soul, not ego.
- Shadow Expression: Clinging to goals because they look good on paper, even when they feel empty. Pushing forward from willpower alone, ignoring the inner “no.” Mistaking ambition for alignment.
- Actionable Step: Conduct a “Motivation Audit.” For one current goal or desire, journal: “Am I pursuing this because it truly lights me up, or because I think I should? What would change if I let my soul, not my ego, guide this pursuit?” Write honestly. Then identify one small adjustment that would bring the goal into greater alignment with your soul’s truth.
3. Receiving the Ripple Effect: Letting One Shift Realign Everything
Aligned with Mars sending ripples through all Aries planets (Neptune, Saturn, Chiron, Venus).
- Positive Expression: Sensing that a single shift in your direction is subtly realigning your dreams, your commitments, your healing, and your desires—all at once. Trusting that movement in one area creates movement everywhere.
- Shadow Expression: Trying to control each layer separately. Feeling overwhelmed by the sense that “everything is shifting.” Mistaking the ripple effect for chaos rather than coherence.
- Actionable Step: Create a “Ripple Map.” Draw yourself in the center of a page. Around you, draw four symbols representing: your dream (Neptune), your commitments (Saturn), your healing (Chiron), and your desires (Venus). From the center, draw ripples connecting them all. Then write: “One shift in my direction is realigning all of me. I trust the coherence beneath the surface.”
4. Allowing the Eclipse Release to Become Direction
Aligned with Mars conjunct North Node bridging the Virgo Lunar Eclipse and Pisces New Moon.
- Positive Expression: Feeling that what you released during the eclipse is now clearing space for a new direction. Understanding that the letting go wasn’t loss—it was preparation. Moving forward with less weight.
- Shadow Expression: Releasing during the eclipse but not moving forward. Staying in the empty space without trusting it’s meant to be filled. Treating release as an ending rather than a beginning.
- Actionable Step: Complete the “Release to Direction” bridge. In your journal, draw a line down the center. Left side: “What I Released During the Eclipse (March 3rd).” Right side: “What Is Now Wanting to Move Toward Me.” For each release, write one sentence about what direction might be opening because of it. Then read it back and notice the bridge forming between release and rebirth.
Psychology Fact:
Psychology Fact: “Tolerance of Uncertainty” & The Prefrontal Cortex
Tolerance of uncertainty is the capacity to remain present and functional when outcomes are unknown. Research shows that low tolerance of uncertainty is associated with anxiety, worry, and avoidance, while high tolerance enables risk-taking, exploration, and growth. Neuroimaging reveals that the prefrontal cortex can be trained to regulate amygdala responses to uncertainty, reducing the threat response and increasing capacity for courageous action. Exposure to the unknown—taking small steps without knowing the outcome—gradually builds this tolerance. Relevance: The North Node in Pisces asks us to step forward without a roadmap. The shadow is waiting for certainty that never comes. The healing is to build tolerance for the unknown through small, courageous steps. Practice “Unknown Exposure.” Today, identify one small step you feel pulled toward but can’t see the outcome of. It could be a conversation, a creative beginning, a boundary, a direction. Take that step without needing to know where it leads. Afterward, journal: “I stepped into the unknown. I am still safe. What I learned is ________.” Each small exposure rewires your brain’s relationship with uncertainty, replacing fear with trust.
Shadow Journal Prompts:
- The Pull I Cannot Explain– Mars conjunct North Node speaks through instinct, not logic. What is one thing—a direction, a person, a creative impulse, a way of being—that I feel quietly pulled toward, even though I can’t logically justify it? If I trusted that pull completely, without needing to know where it leads, what would I allow myself to follow?
- Where My Soul, Not My Ego, Wants to Move– Mars in Pisces dissolves ego-driven motivations. Look at one current goal or desire. Is it fueled by soul (inner truth, aliveness, alignment) or by ego (recognition, validation, “should”)? If I stripped away all external expectations, what would my soul actually want to move toward right now?
- The Ripple I Feel Beneath the Surface– Mars sends ripples through all the Aries planets—dream, structure, healing, desire. I sense that something is shifting beneath the surface—in my dreams, my commitments, my healing, my desires. What does that shift feel like, even if I can’t name it clearly? If I trusted that one movement is realigning everything, what might I allow to simply be in process?
- What the Eclipse Release Is Making Space For– Mars bridges the Virgo Lunar Eclipse and the upcoming Pisces New Moon. Return to what you released during the March 3rd eclipse. Now, sitting with that release, ask: What might this letting go actually be clearing space for? What new direction feels like it’s quietly waiting in the wings?
- A Prayer to the Unknown– The North Node in Pisces asks us to step forward without a roadmap. Write a short poem or invocation to the unknown—to the path you cannot yet see, to the direction you’re being pulled toward. It doesn’t need to be poetic or perfect. Just honest. Something like: “I don’t know where this is leading, but I trust the pull. I am willing to be guided. I am ready to move.” Let your own words rise to the surface.
Astrology for Sunday March 15th, 2026
* Mars conjunct Mercury Rx (Pisces)
Mars Conjunct Mercury Rx — The Instinct Becomes the Message
Today, we arrive at an interestingly fated convergence—a moment where instinct, intuition, and destiny meet. Mars conjuncts Mercury retrograde in Pisces, and together they stand on the North Node, involved in an aspect pattern that is called a Yod—also known as a “Finger of God”—pointing directly at the Virgo South Node, the apex. This is not a subtle day. It is a day of karmic pressure, psychological purging, and the kind of inner knowing that arrives not through thought, but through felt truth.
Something is being activated beneath the surface. We may not see it, but we can sure feel it.
The Core Conjunction: Instinct Meets Intuition on the North Node
Mars and Mercury retrograde meet in Pisces, fusing action with introspection, desire with re-evaluation. Mars brings instinct and courage; Mercury retrograde brings inner listening and the unraveling of old mental patterns. Together in Pisces, they dissolve the boundary between doing and knowing, creating a moment where our actions become intuitively guided rather than logically planned.
Because they meet on the North Node, this is a karmic ignition point—a moment where something new is being activated, even if it hasn’t yet taken visible form. And because Mercury rules the Virgo South Node, and Mars is directly opposite it, this conjunction forces a release of everything that blocks our forward movement: overthinking, perfectionism, control, self-criticism, and the endless need to “get it right.”
Pisces asks for trust. Mars asks for courage. Mercury Rx asks for listening. The North Node asks for surrender to the path unfolding—even when we cannot see where it leads.
The Yod: A Fated Pressure System
Today’s configuration includes a Yod—the “Finger of God”—a potent aspect pattern that funnels energy toward a single point. In this case, that point is the Virgo South Node, making this entire formation about one thing: release.
The Yod’s three points create a triangular tension that funnels directly into the South Node:
- Moon/Pluto in Aquarius — deep psychological purging, emotional truth, collective awakening
- Saturn/Neptune/Venus in Aries — dissolving old structures, forming new ones, clarifying new values and desires
- Mars/Mercury Rx in Pisces — instinctive action and intuitive reorientation meeting on the North Node
- Apex: Virgo South Node — karmic release, purification, letting go of outdated patterns
Because the apex is the South Node, the entire Yod is about purging what no longer aligns with our growth. And because the base of the Yod includes Mars and Mercury Rx conjunct the North Node, the release is immediately followed by redirection. This creates a Boomerang effect: the energy rebounds from the South Node back into Pisces, pushing us toward the North Node’s path of surrender, intuition, and faithful alignment.
What we release today isn’t loss—it’s clearing the way.
The Rulers: Jupiter and Mars Shape the Story
Jupiter rules Pisces, the North Node, and all planets in Pisces. Recently stationed direct, Jupiter is:
- Trine the Sun, Mercury Rx, Mars, and the North Node — strengthening emotional understanding, meaning, and spiritual direction
- Square Venus in Aries — pushing new values and desires to evolve, creating productive tension
Jupiter acts as the compass of the day, amplifying intuition, emotional truth, and the sense that something deeply meaningful is unfolding beneath the surface.
Mars, as the ruler of all planets in Aries (Saturn, Neptune, Venus), is the engine behind the scenes. Whatever happens to Mars today ripples through:
- The dream & vision (Neptune)
- The structure & dedication (Saturn)
- The values & desire (Venus)
Mars is also semi-sextile Venus and the Aquarius Moon, and trine Jupiter—meaning instinct, emotion, and intuition are all in conversation, weaving together a coherent inner directive.
The Psychological and Spiritual Meaning
This is a day where instinct and intuition fuse into a single inner directive—not a thought, but a felt knowing. The old Virgo South Node patterns are being forced to dissolve, not because we fight them, but because the pressure of this configuration makes them untenable. The eclipse storyline is being reactivated and understood from a deeper, more psychological perspective. A new direction begins to reveal itself through feeling, instinct, and intuition—not through logic.
The mind is being rewired to follow internal soul-level guidance. Our actions are becoming faithfully guided rather than ego-driven. This is a day where something clicks—not mentally, but energetically. We may not have the full picture yet, but we know which way the current is pulling us.
We are psychologically purging what has been continuously holding us back from moving forward.
What This Feels Like: A sense of pressure that isn’t anxiety—it’s preparation. Emotional intensity that surfaces truth. A quiet but unmistakable knowing about what needs to be released and what wants to be born. The feeling of standing at a threshold, not knowing what’s on the other side, but knowing you’re meant to cross.
Healing Mantra:
“I release what no longer serves my becoming. I trust the instinct pulling me forward. My mind is being rewired to follow my soul’s guidance.”
The Mars-Mercury Cycle
The Mars–Mercury cycle fuses instinct with thought, showing how your actions and decisions are shaped by the stories you tell yourself and the patterns you’re ready to outgrow. Its purpose is to align will and mind so you can act with clarity rather than reactivity—and because Mercury’s retrograde cycle often brings multiple connections, this cycle can unfold in several passes, each one deepening the lesson before the aspect completes.

Healing Opportunities & Actionable Steps:
1. Releasing Virgo South Node Patterns Through Felt Pressure
Aligned with the Yod’s apex at the Virgo South Node — karmic release point.
- Positive Expression: Feeling the pressure of old patterns—perfectionism, overthinking, self-criticism, control—rising to the surface not to haunt you, but to be finally released. Understanding that the discomfort is preparation, not punishment.
- Shadow Expression: Resisting the pressure, trying to maintain control, or interpreting the intensity as something “going wrong.” Clinging to familiar patterns even as they become untenable.
- Actionable Step: Create a “Release List.” On one side of a page, write down the old Virgo patterns you feel pressing to be released: specific self-criticisms, need for control, perfectionist standards, over-functioning habits. On the other side, for each one, write: “I release you. You kept me safe once. I no longer need you.” Read the list aloud. This ritual honors the South Node’s function as the pressure valve of the entire Yod.
2. Trusting Instinct as Inner Guidance
Aligned with Mars conjunct Mercury Rx on the North Node — instinct fuses with intuition.
- Positive Expression: Feeling a quiet but unmistakable inner pull toward something new, even without logical proof. Trusting that your instincts are carrying soul-level guidance. Moving from “I think” to “I feel.”
- Shadow Expression: Dismissing instinct because it doesn’t make sense. Overriding gut feelings with mental analysis. Waiting for certainty that never arrives.
- Actionable Step: Practice “Instinct Journaling.” Today, carry a small notebook. Whenever you have an instinctive hit—a pull toward or away from something, a gut feeling about a person or choice—write it down immediately, without editing. At day’s end, review your notes and notice the thread. This builds trust in the Mars-Mercury fusion as a reliable inner compass.
3. Allowing the Boomerang to Redirect You
Aligned with the Yod rebounding from the South Node back into Pisces and the North Node.
- Positive Expression: Feeling that what you release is immediately creating space for new direction. Trusting that the clearing and the path forward are part of one movement. Allowing yourself to be redirected without needing to see the whole route.
- Shadow Expression: Releasing but not moving forward. Staying in the empty space without trusting it’s meant to be filled. Treating release as an ending rather than a pivot.
- Actionable Step: Complete the “Release to Redirection” bridge. Draw a curved line on a page—a boomerang shape. At one end, write what you’re releasing (South Node). At the other end, write what you sense is pulling you forward (North Node). Along the curve, write: “I release, and the arc returns me to my path. I trust the curve.” Place this somewhere you’ll see it as a visual reminder that release and direction are one movement.
4. Receiving the Rewiring of the Mind
Aligned with Mercury (ruler of the South Node) being activated at the Yod’s base.
- Positive Expression: Feeling your mind being gently but firmly rewired—old mental habits loosening, new intuitive pathways forming. Understanding that you’re not “losing clarity”; you’re gaining a deeper kind of knowing.
- Shadow Expression: Fighting the mental fog or confusion, trying to force linear thinking when it’s not available. Mistaking the rewiring process for something broken.
- Actionable Step: Create a “Mind Rewiring” log. Today, notice moments when your mind works differently—when you just know something without thinking, when old critical thoughts feel less sticky, when intuition speaks louder than logic. Jot these moments down. At day’s end, reflect: “My mind is being rewired to follow my soul. I trust this process, even when it feels unfamiliar.”
Psychology Fact:
Psychology Fact: “Cognitive Fusion” & “Experiential Avoidance”
Cognitive fusion (ACT) is the tendency to become so entangled with thoughts that we experience them as literal truth rather than mental events. Perfectionistic thoughts (“I’m not enough,” “I should be further along”) are particularly sticky. Experiential avoidance—the attempt to avoid uncomfortable inner experiences—actually amplifies them. Research shows that accepting thoughts and feelings without fusion reduces their power and increases psychological flexibility. The pressure of a Yod can trigger both fusion and avoidance; the healing is in allowing. Relevance: The Yod’s apex at the Virgo South Node brings perfectionism and self-criticism to the surface for release. The shadow is fusing with these thoughts, believing them, or avoiding the discomfort they bring. The healing is to observe them without entanglement. Practice “Leaves on a Stream” (ACT visualization). Sit quietly, close your eyes, and imagine a gentle stream. Each time a self-critical or perfectionistic thought arises, place it on a leaf and watch it float downstream. Don’t engage, don’t argue, don’t analyze—just observe and release. Do this for 5-10 minutes. This builds the muscle of cognitive defusion, weakening the grip of South Node patterns.
Shadow Journal Prompts:
- The Pressure I Feel Rising– The Yod’s apex at the Virgo South Node brings karmic patterns to the surface for release. What old pattern—perfectionism, self-criticism, control, overthinking, the need to prove—feels like it’s pressing to be released right now? Not as a concept, but as a felt pressure in my body and psyche. If this pressure is preparation, not punishment, what might it be preparing me to let go of?
- The Instinct I Cannot Explain– Mars conjunct Mercury Rx on the North Node speaks through gut feeling, not logic. What is one instinctive pull I feel—toward or away from something, someone, a choice, a direction—that I cannot yet logically justify? If I trusted this pull completely, without needing to understand it, where might it be trying to lead me?
- What Release Is Making Space For– The Yod’s Boomerang effect rebounds release into redirection. Looking at what I’m releasing—the old pattern, the familiar way of being, the self-criticism I’ve carried—what might this letting go actually be clearing space for? If release and direction are one movement, what new path feels like it’s quietly waiting on the other side?
- The New Language of My Mind– Mercury (ruler of the South Node) is being rewired through this configuration. How has my mind been working differently lately? Have I noticed old critical thoughts feeling less sticky? Have I experienced moments of just knowing without thinking? What might my mind be learning about following something deeper than logic?
- A Conversation Between What I’m Releasing and What I’m Becoming– The South Node and North Node are in direct dialogue through this Yod. Write a short dialogue between two parts of yourself: the part that’s releasing old Virgo patterns (South Node) and the part that’s being pulled toward Piscean trust and intuition (North Node). Let them speak to each other. What does the releasing “self” need the becoming “self” to understand? What does the becoming “self” want to promise, in return?
