The Astrology for June 22nd – 28th, 2026: The Week of Listening, Building & Shifting Gears — Sun-North Node, Venus-Saturn & Mars in Gemini

A Weekly Astrological Look Ahead with Soul-Work Journal Prompts, Healing Opportunities, as well as Actionable Steps to Work with the Energy.

Hey Soul Seekers,

I hope your Father’s Day weekend and the Summer Solstice brought you moments of connection, reflection, or just a little time to breathe. To all the wonderful dads out there—thank you for all that you do. And for those for whom Father’s Day carries grief or weight, please know I’m holding space for you. Some days are tender, and that tenderness matters too.

This week the Astrology for June 22nd – 28th begins softly, like a quiet current, and builds toward something faster, brighter, and more curious by the end.

On Tuesday, the Sun in Cancer trines the North Node in Pisces—a gently powerful alignment where intuition becomes your guide. This isn’t a loud transit; it’s a subtle, knowing pull. You may find yourself emotionally nudged toward something meaningful without being able to explain why. The Cancer Sun is nurturing and protective, ruled by the Moon, so your feelings become your compass. The North Node in Pisces points toward trust, surrender, and compassion—toward a way of being that feels more like following than forcing. On a day like this, if something feels right, it probably is. If you’re quietly drawn toward rest, connection, or a new perspective, follow it. Your heart already knows more than your mind can explain.

Thursday holds a beautiful tension. Early in the day, Venus in Leo trines Saturn in Aries, offering grounded, mature energy for your creativity, relationships, and sense of self-expression. Leo wants to shine; Saturn gives you the structure and courage to build something real from that spark. Commitments feel solid. Projects gain momentum. Inspiration meets follow-through. But later, the Sun in Cancer squares Neptune in Aries, and the clarity begins to soften into fog. This square can blur the line between reality and fantasy—between what you hope is there and what actually is. Emotional needs may distort perception. Dreams may feel so vivid they seem real. The invitation isn’t to abandon your imagination—it’s to keep one foot on solid ground. Let the Venus-Saturn trine anchor you. Dream, but stay honest. Imagine, but don’t lose touch with what’s true.

Sunday brings momentum and movement. First, Mars in Taurus sextiles Jupiter in Cancer at the final degree of Taurus—the anaretic degree, a threshold moment. This is a grounded, emotionally aligned burst of motivation. Taurus is slow and steady; Cancer is nurturing and protective. Together, Mars and Jupiter make it easier to take practical, meaningful steps toward something that genuinely matters to you—home, family, emotional security, or a creative project that feels like tending your own roots. This is a closing chapter for Mars in Taurus, so there’s a sense of completing something, of taking one last grounded step before everything shifts.

And shift it does. Hours later, Mars enters Gemini, and the energy changes completely. Mars in Taurus is slow, deliberate, and methodical. Mars in Gemini is fast, curious, and mentally restless. The moment Mars enters Gemini, the pace quickens, the mind sharpens, and the desire for stimulation, ideas, and connection intensifies. This is not a time to stay still—it’s a time to explore, ask questions, follow threads, and act on curiosity. Mars in Gemini is agile and electric, but it can also scatter if you’re not intentional. The shift from Taurus to Gemini is the shift from embodied action to mental momentum. You can feel the ground moving beneath your feet—and that’s exactly where the next chapter begins.

A Reminder

As a friendly reminder, with Saturn and Neptune in Aries, time may feel like it’s moving faster or scattered, so focus on joy, purpose, personal development, and what truly nourishes you. I’m writing a more streamlined format for a bit, as I balance a fuller workload; I appreciate your patience and support as I temporarily pause any new consultations to honor my current commitments. Astrological Breakdown for the Week

The Astrology for June 22nd – 28th

Welcome to a week that moves like a river—slow and intuitive at the start, then picking up speed toward the end. It begins with the Sun in Cancer trine the North Node in Pisces, offering soft, watery guidance. Intuition is loud. Emotions are wise. Healing comes through stability and self-compassion. By Thursday, Venus trines Saturn, helping us ground our creativity and commit to what matters—but the Sun also squares Neptune, blurring the line between reality and fantasy. The invitation is to dream without losing your footing. Then Sunday brings a double shift: Mars sextiles Jupiter at the anaretic degree, offering one last grounded, emotionally aligned push before Mars enters Gemini, where the pace quickens, the mind sharpens, and curiosity becomes a driving force. This is a week of trust, discipline, and transition.

Tuesday, June 23rd: Sun (Cancer) trine North Node (Pisces)

On Tuesday, the Sun in Cancer is trine the North Node in Pisces and sextile the South Node in Virgo, creating a deeply intuitive, watery flow of energy. The Sun in Cancer is nurturing, emotional, and protective. It expresses itself through care, intuition, and the desire to create safety—both internally and externally. Being ruled by the Moon also adds to heightened sensitivity, empathy, and a strong connection to our roots, memory, and the past. The North Node in Pisces invites compassion, trust, and spiritual growth, making this a day to follow our intuition, listen to our feelings, and trust our inner knowing.

The Sun in Cancer is also semi‑sextile Uranus in Gemini, offering a gentle nudge toward change. This isn’t disruptive—it’s subtle, like a breeze shifting direction. We may feel inspired to express ourselves differently, think in new ways, or stay open minded to fresh perspectives. The Sun square Neptune in Aries adds a layer of emotional fog or idealism, blurring the line between what’s real and what’s imagined. This can be beautifully creative and inspiring, but grounding is essential to avoid drifting into fantasy or confusion.

The Sun’s sextile to Chiron in Taurus brings a soft, stabilizing healing energy. This is an opportunity to work with wounds around safety, security, and self‑worth in a gentle, supportive way. Chiron in Taurus highlights where we’ve felt insecure or ungrounded, and the Cancer Sun helps us approach these wounds with care, patience, and emotional honesty. Healing comes through stability, nourishment, and reconnecting with what feels safe.

Meanwhile, the North Node in Pisces is receiving a square from Mars in Taurus, creating a push‑pull dynamic between action and surrender. Mars wants to move forward, but Taurus demands steadiness and patience. This tension encourages us to trust our inner wisdom rather than forcing outcomes. The North Node is still square Uranus in Gemini, continuing a period of sudden shifts, karmic recalibrations, and breakthroughs in communication, learning, and identity. Past and future growth are activated at once.

The North Node is also semi‑sextile Neptune in Aries, blending our karmic direction with Neptune’s visionary, imaginative energy—now infused with Aries’ drive to act on inspiration. This subtle alignment encourages intuitive leaps, spiritual courage, and creative faith.

What it feels like: Soft, intuitive, emotionally rich. A blend of clarity and mystery. We may feel guided, nudged, or pulled toward something meaningful without fully understanding why. There is a sense of inner movement—quiet but powerful.

Positive expressions: Emotional insight. Intuitive guidance. Healing through stability. Creative inspiration. Spiritual growth. Gentle breakthroughs. Feeling supported by the universe. Trusting our inner voice.

Shadow expressions: Confusion. Emotional overwhelm. Idealizing situations. Feeling ungrounded. Resistance to change. Doubting our intuition. Feeling pulled in multiple directions.

The invitation: Trust your feelings. Let intuition lead. Allow gentle shifts to open new pathways. Ground your dreams in reality. Let the Cancer Sun nurture you while the Pisces North Node guides you. This is a day to soften, listen, and follow the quiet wisdom rising from within.

Healing Opportunity & Actionable Step:

Trusting Intuition Before It Makes Sense
Aligned with Sun trine North Node — intuitive guidance and emotional clarity.
Positive Expression: Emotional insight, trusting your inner voice, feeling guided toward meaningful growth, healing through stability and self-compassion.
Shadow Expression: Confusion, emotional overwhelm, idealizing situations, doubting your intuition, feeling pulled in multiple directions.
Actionable Step: Practice “The First Knowing.” Today, when faced with a decision or direction, pause. Before your mind analyzes, ask: “What do I already know about this?” Write the first thing that comes—without editing. Then trust it enough to act on it in one small way. You don’t need to understand why you know something to honor that you do.

Thursday, June 25th: Venus (Leo) trine Saturn (Aries); Sun (Cancer) square Neptune (Aries)

On Thursday, Venus in Leo trines Saturn in Aries and the Sun in Cancer squares Neptune in Aries—creating a day where clarity and grounded action meet emotional fog and idealism. When Venus moves through Leo and forms a trine with Saturn in Aries, passion, creativity, and self‑expression blend beautifully with discipline, responsibility, and initiative. This is a harmonious, stabilizing alignment that helps turn desire into something real. It supports commitment, follow‑through, and the ability to build something lasting from our inspiration. Leo brings the spark; Aries brings the action; Saturn brings the structure. Together, they help support relationships, projects, and creative visions take shape in a meaningful way.

Several hours later, the Sun in Cancer squares Neptune in Aries, shifting the tone. This square just like yesterday, can blur reality and fantasy, making it harder to see things clearly. Emotional needs, hopes, or expectations may distort our perception. We may idealize a situation or imagine how something “should” unfold, only to realize we’re not seeing the full picture. This can create confusion, disappointment, or a sense of drifting.

Because of this, the grounded, supportive Venus–Saturn trine becomes especially important. It reminds us to stay realistic, to honor responsibilities, and to keep expectations rooted in what’s actually possible. The Sun–Neptune square invites creativity and imagination, but it also asks for discernment. The day becomes a dichotomy dance between inspiration and reality, fantasy and structure, desire and discipline.

What it feels like: Productive yet dreamy. Inspired yet slightly foggy. You may feel motivated and grounded earlier in the day, then more sensitive, idealistic, or uncertain as the Sun–Neptune square sets in. There’s a blend of confidence and softness, clarity and haze.

Positive expressions: Creative discipline. Commitment to what matters. Turning inspiration into form. Emotional openness. Spiritual insight. Building something meaningful from passion.

Shadow expressions: Confusion. Over‑idealizing. Misreading situations. Avoiding reality. Feeling let down when expectations don’t match truth. Emotional overwhelm.

The invitation: Let Venus trine Saturn guide you—stay grounded, stay committed, stay realistic. Let the Sun–Neptune square inspire imagination without letting it distort your clarity. This is a day to blend creativity with responsibility, intuition with practicality, and dreams with steady action.

Healing opportunity & Actionable Step:

Creating Without Losing Your Footing
Aligned with Venus trine Saturn (grounded creativity) and Sun square Neptune (dreamy idealism).
Positive Expression: Creative discipline, commitment to what matters, turning inspiration into form, staying grounded while dreaming.
Shadow Expression: Confusion, over-idealizing, avoiding reality, feeling let down when expectations don’t match truth.
Actionable Step: Create a “Vision & Ground” page. On the left, write your inspired vision or dream (allow yourself to imagine freely). On the right, write one grounded action that honors that vision without losing touch with reality. Then take that action. Example: “Vision: I want to build a creative practice.” “Ground: I will spend 15 minutes on it today.” Dream with your feet on the floor.

Sunday, June 28th: Mars (Taurus) sextile Jupiter (Cancer); Mars Enters Gemini

On Sunday, Mars is incredibly active. First, Mars in Taurus makes its final aspect before leaving the sign—Mars sextiles Jupiter in Cancer at 29°, the anuretic degree, the last degree of Taurus. This is a threshold moment. After this, Mars shifts into Gemini, where the pace quickens, the mind sharpens, and our actions take on a more curious, restless, and mentally driven quality.

Mars sextile Jupiter in Cancer brings an influx of energy and motivation. This aspect blends Mars’ steady, grounded determination in Taurus with Jupiter’s emotional generosity and expansive optimism in Cancer. It becomes easier to act on opportunities that feel aligned with your values and emotional truth. You may feel inspired to take practical steps toward goals connected to home, family, creativity, or anything that nurtures you. Mars in Taurus isn’t impulsive, but this sextile opens the door to calculated risks—especially because Mars is approaching Uranus, the planet of the unexpected. This could look like investing in something you trust, starting a home‑based project, or deepening a personal endeavor that feels meaningful.

However, Jupiter in Cancer can amplify emotional idealism, so it’s important to stay realistic about expectations. Mars in Taurus can also resist change, digging in its heels when flexibility is needed. The sextile helps soften this, encouraging patient, emotionally aware action. This is a calm, steady push toward growth—success comes through purpose, patience, and alignment with what truly matters to you.

Hours later, Mars enters Gemini, shifting the energy dramatically. Mars is the planet of action, drive, and assertiveness. In Gemini, an air sign, Mars becomes mentally active, curious, communicative, and quick. This brings sharp mental energy, verbal agility, and a desire to explore multiple ideas at once. The mind speeds up. Conversations become more dynamic. Curiosity becomes a driving force. And because Mars is immediately influenced by Uranus once entering Gemini, the shift feels sudden, electric, and unpredictable. Ideas spark quickly. Decisions may come fast. The desire for freedom, stimulation, and new experiences intensifies.

Mars will remain in Gemini until August 11th, and during this time it will make several significant aspects:

  • July 2: Mars square the Nodes of Fate: A turning‑point moment that pushes you to choose a new direction, forcing action that aligns with your growth rather than your past patterns.
  • July 4: Mars conjunct Uranus: A sudden, electric burst of change that brings breakthroughs, surprises, and impulsive shifts in direction or desire.
  • July 5: Mars sextile Neptune in Aries + trine Pluto Rx in Aquarius: Inspired action flows easily, helping you act on intuition while tapping into deep inner power and transformative motivation.
  • July 19: Mars sextile Saturn in Aries: Steady, disciplined effort supports real progress, helping you take focused action with confidence and maturity.
  • July 29: Mars square Venus in Virgo: Tension between desire and practicality creates friction in relationships, motivation, or values, urging you to rebalance effort and expectation.

This is a mentally charged, fast‑moving Mars cycle—one that brings breakthroughs, shifts in direction, new ideas, and a desire to act on curiosity.

What it feels like: A turning point. A shift from slow, steady movement to quick, agile momentum. You may feel grounded and purposeful early in the day, then mentally activated, curious, or restless once Mars enters Gemini. There’s a sense of transition—like the energy is picking up speed.

Positive expressions: Practical action. Emotional motivation. Inspired ideas. Mental clarity. Productive conversations. Creative problem‑solving. Taking meaningful steps toward growth. Feeling energized and curious.

Shadow expressions: Over‑idealizing. Acting too quickly. Scattered energy. Restlessness. Emotional impulsivity. Taking on too many ideas at once. Resistance to change followed by sudden overcorrection.

The invitation: Use the Mars–Jupiter sextile to take grounded, emotionally aligned action. Then let Mars in Gemini open your mind, spark new ideas, and help you explore fresh possibilities. This is a day of transition—one that blends stability with movement, patience with curiosity, and grounded effort with mental expansion.

Healing opportunity & Actionable Step:

Taking Grounded Action Before the Shift
Aligned with Mars sextile Jupiter at the anaretic degree — a threshold moment of emotionally aligned action.
Positive Expression: Practical action, emotional motivation, inspired ideas, taking meaningful steps toward growth, feeling energized and purposeful.
Shadow Expression: Over-idealizing, resisting change, digging in heels when flexibility is needed, emotional impulsivity.
Actionable Step: Complete a “Threshold Action.” Before Mars shifts into Gemini (the energy quickens), identify one small, grounded action you can take toward something that matters—something steady, practical, aligned with what you value. Do it today, with intention. Journal: “I took this step before the shift. It was grounded in ________. I am ready for what’s next.”

Healing Mantra for the Week:

“I trust the quiet knowing in my chest. I honor what’s real without losing what’s possible. I move from steady ground into curious sky. This is what growth looks like.”

Psychology Fact:

The Paradox of Choice & Decision Fatigue
The paradox of choice (Schwartz) demonstrates that while more options feel desirable, too many choices lead to decision paralysis, anxiety, and reduced satisfaction. Decision fatigue—the deteriorating quality of decisions after making many choices—is a documented phenomenon. The brain’s prefrontal cortex depletes with each decision, making later choices more impulsive or avoidant. Mars in Gemini’s rapid-fire curiosity can trigger both paradoxes: wanting every option without committing to any. Relevance: Mars in Gemini brings mental stimulation and curiosity. The shadow is scattering energy across too many ideas. The healing is to contain curiosity—to explore without depleting decision-making capacity.
Practice: “The Curiosity Container.” Set a timer for 30 minutes of open exploration—brainstorming, researching, asking questions. When the timer ends, spend 5 minutes journaling: “What felt alive? What was just interesting? What’s one thing I want to explore further?” This honors Gemini’s curiosity while protecting your decision-making energy, preventing the scatter that leads to exhaustion.

Shadow Journal Prompts: (for the whole week)

  1. What Does My Intuition Already Know? The Sun-North Node trine invites us to trust our inner knowing before we fully understand it.
Think of a situation you’ve been analyzing—turning over, weighing options, trying to “figure out.” If you set down the analysis for a moment and simply asked your body or your gut, what does it already know? Not what you think, but what you feel. What would change if you acted on that knowing, even just a little, without needing to understand why?
  2. The Dream I’m Holding (And the Ground I Need to Keep) Venus-Saturn grounds creativity; Sun-Neptune blurs the line between vision and illusion.
What is one dream, creative impulse, or vision you’ve been holding—one that feels alive but maybe also a little ungrounded? What’s the first, most humble step you could take to honor that vision without losing touch with reality? Not the whole plan—just the next right thing. What would it feel like to let yourself dream and build at the same time?
  3. Where Am I Seeing What I Want, Instead of What’s True? Sun-Neptune can fog perception, making it easy to idealize or avoid reality.
Is there a situation, relationship, or decision where you might be seeing what you hope, rather than what actually is? Not with judgment—with honesty. What would change if you let yourself see clearly, even if it meant adjusting your expectations? What might be trying to show itself to you, if you stopped looking away?
  4. The Step I’m Ready to Take Before the Shift Mars-Jupiter at the anuretic degree offers a final moment of grounded, emotionally aligned action.
What is one small, tangible step you’ve been wanting to take—something that feels aligned with your values, your growth, or your emotional truth? Not the whole thing, just a step. What’s been holding you back? What would it feel like to take that step today, not because you’re ready, but because you’re willing? And what do you sense is waiting for you on the other side of it?
  5. The Question I’m Ready to Follow Mars in Gemini sparks curiosity, mental energy, and a desire to explore.
What is one question you’ve been curious about—not one you should ask, but one that genuinely interests you? What would happen if you followed that thread without needing to find an answer, just to see where it leads? What might you discover by letting curiosity, not certainty, be your guide?

HAVE THE BEST WEEK AHEAD!
