Astrology for June 30th- July 6th, 2025: What Truths Are You Ready to Roar (or Release)?

A Weekly Astrological Look Ahead with Soul-Work Journal Prompts, Healing Opportunities, as well as Actionable Steps to Work with the Energy.

Hey Soul Tribe,

This week, the universe is serving up a potent mix of fire, liberation, and deep self-inquiry—and honestly? I’m right there in the trenches with you. As I’ve been working with Tara Brach’s RAIN Method (Recognize, Allow, Investigate, Nurture) for radical self-acceptance, I’m reminded in this moment that growth requires the vulnerability to accept, what I may deem as “Flaws”, as being human. It’s about showing up for the messy, glorious process of becoming. And with this week’s astrology, we’re all being invited to do just that.

My Challenge to You This Week:

  1. Name one thing you’re radically accepting about yourself right now
(I’ll go first: I’m accepting any fear, that masks itself as anxiety, so I can challenge and face that fear! Most of the time it is an over idealized thought that manifest as anxiety, it tends to be extremely blown out of proportion.)
  2. Share in the comments: What’s one way you’ll work with these energies?

Keep shining—exactly as you are. You are ENOUGH!!

A Quick Glance Ahead:

Monday June 30th, 2025

* Mercury Enters Pre-Shadow (Leo)

– Mercury enters its Leo pre-retrograde shadow on Monday, between (4°-15° Leo) – this time will be especially potent for fire/fixed signs. What makes this retrograde particularly fascinating is its overlap with the same early degrees of Leo where Mars recently had its retrograde. This reactivates themes from that period—but instead of reassessing our passions and actions (as Mars asked of us), Mercury now turns the focus inward, urging us to re-examine how we think, speak, and connect.

Friday July 4th, 2025

*Venus conjunct Uranus (Taurus) (29* critical degree)
*Venus Enters Gemini (until July 30th)
*Neptune Stations Retrograde (Aries) (–>moves back into Pisces Oct. 22)

-Today’s Venus-Uranus conjunction at 29° Taurus shocks stagnant values awake, forcing liberation in love, money, and self-worth—lean into the discomfort. As Venus enters Gemini (until July 30), connections spark, while Neptune’s retrograde in Aries (first in our lifetime) blurs action with intuition, urging us to confront where we numb or doubt our right to take up space.

Sunday June 6th, 2025

* Venus (Gemini) sextile Saturn (Aries)
* Venus (Gemini) sextile Neptune retro. (Aries)

-Venus in Gemini’s sextiles to Saturn and Neptune RX in Aries offer structured magic—Saturn helps ground your bold new ideas into reality, while Neptune dissolves perfectionism with radical compassion. Ask: What dream can I take one concrete step toward today, while embracing my messy human-ness?

Day by Day Breakdown

Monday June 30th, 2025

Mercury Pre-Shadow

* Mercury Enters Pre-Shadow (Leo)

Overview:

On Monday, Mercury in Leo enters its pre-retrograde shadow phase, marking the beginning of a period where we’ll revisit the same energetic terrain. The spotlight falls on the hot degrees of 4°14′ to 15°34′ Leo, so if you have any personal planets or sensitive points (like your Ascendant, Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars) within this range in any sign—especially fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) or fixed signs (Taurus, Scorpio, Aquarius)—you’ll feel this retrograde’s effects most intensely.

Bold Communication Meets Retrograde Reflection

As the planet of communication, thought, and expression, Mercury in Leo thrives on boldness and drama.

Shadow Work Under the Spotlight: Mercury Opposite Pluto

Adding intensity, Mercury opposes Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, amplifying psychological depth and unearthing buried shadows. Imagine Pluto representing the hidden parts of yourself, suddenly illuminated by Mercury’s bold Leo light. This is a potent moment to confront triggers, fears, or old patterns—especially around:

  • Visibility (fear of being seen or judged)
  • Validation (seeking external approval)
  • Unexpressed power (where you shrink from your authority)

The universe is pushing us to take decisive action:

  • What mental blocks or outdated narratives hold you back?
  • Where have you hesitated to step into your full authenticity?
  • What would it look like to fully own your voice and presence?

Active Rewiring: From Release to Radiance

This is more than just reflection—it’s active rewiring. We’re being called to:

  • Release old defenses and self-sabotaging stories
  • Reclaim parts of ourselves we’ve muted for others
  • Rebuild a truer version aligned with what we truly stand for

This energy supports us in tearing down our fear and our inner voids, that have lingered far too long. By the end of this retrograde, you’ll be prepared to shine unapologetically, moving toward what sets your soul on fire.

Healing Opportunities & Actionable Steps:

1. Revisit & Reframe Communication Patterns

  • Healing Opportunity: Mercury retrograde in Leo highlights how you express yourself—especially around themes of pride, ego, and validation. Where have you held back your voice out of fear? Where have you been overly dramatic or defensive?
  • Actionable Steps:
    • Journal prompts: “When do I silence myself to avoid conflict?” or “Where do I seek external validation instead of trusting my own worth?”
    • Practice speaking with more confidence—record yourself or rehearse important conversations.

2. Shadow Work: Confront Fears of Being Seen

  • Healing Opportunity: With Mercury opposite Pluto, buried insecurities (fear of criticism, rejection, or not being “enough”) may surface. This is a chance to heal deep-seated wounds around visibility.
  • Actionable Steps:
    • Identify a recent trigger—ask: “What old story or fear does this connect to?”
    • Write a letter to your younger self, offering the reassurance they needed. Burn or release it as a symbolic act of letting go.

3. Reconnect with Creative Joy

  • Healing Opportunity: Leo rules creativity and play. If you’ve felt blocked or overly self-critical, this retrograde asks you to reclaim the fun, and the expressive parts of yourself.
  • Actionable Steps:
    • Engage in a creative activity without judgment—doodle, dance, or write freely.
    • Revisit an old passion project you abandoned; see what new inspiration arises.

4. Review & Release Outdated Narratives

  • Healing Opportunity: Mars retrograde in Leo (a few months back) asked, “What do I fight for?” Now, Mercury asks, “How do I communicate what I fight for?” Align your words with your truth.
  • Actionable Steps:
    • List 3 limiting beliefs (“I’m not talented enough”). Rewrite them as affirmations (“The way I connect and communicate is my superpower—authentic, magnetic, and uniquely mine.”)
    • If a past conflict resurfaces, consider if closure or an apology (to yourself or others) is needed.

5. Strengthen Authentic Connections

  • Healing Opportunity: Leo governs the heart. Miscommunications or ego clashes may arise—but they’re invitations to communicate with more warmth and honesty.
  • Actionable Steps:
    • Reach out to someone you’ve lost touch with (no agenda—just reconnect).
    • Before reacting in a heated moment, pause and ask: “Is this about my pride, or another issue?”

Journal Prompts:
To work with the energy of the skies, use these journal prompts.

Shadow Work Tip:  The brain prioritizes negative feedback over praise (a survival mechanism called negativity bias), but consciously focusing on positive experiences for 20+ seconds helps rewire neural pathways toward self-trust.
Why it matters for this retrograde: Leo’s energy invites you to notice and savor moments when you spoke up, created boldly, or felt truly seen—counteracting old patterns of self-doubt. Here is an article that explains it very well: Negative Bias: Why We’re Hardwired for Negativity

1. When do I dim my voice to avoid standing out?
Explore a time you held back your truth to please others. What fear was underneath?

2.
Where have I tied my self-worth to external validation?
How can I detach my value from others’ opinions and celebrate myself unconditionally?

3.
What childhood experience taught me that being “too much” was unsafe?
How does this still show up in my communication or creativity today?

4.
If my ego were a character, what would it look like—and what is it protecting?
Describe its armor (loudness, silence, humor) and the tender wound it hides.

5.
What old story about myself am I ready to burn?
Write it down, then rewrite the narrative from a place of radical self-acceptance.

6. Where do I perform instead of being authentic?
Identify one situation where you “people-please” or wear a mask. What would freedom feel like here?

Dismantling the Old Image by: stux

*Venus conjunct Uranus (Taurus) (29* critical degree)
*Venus Enters Gemini (until July 30th)
*Neptune Stations Retrograde (Aries) (–>moves back into Pisces Oct. 22)

Venus-Uranus Conjunction at 29° Taurus: Breaking Free

The skies are stirring with potent, transformative energy today, inviting us to liberate our values and what we find important—even if it feels uncomfortable. Venus conjunct Uranus at 29° Taurus marks a critical ending, a cosmic finale to cycles of stagnation, especially around relationships, money, and our core values. Taurus (ruled by Venus) clings to comfort, but Uranus electrifies the atmosphere, shocking us awake with liberating clarity. If you’ve been feeling stuck, resentful of routines, or uneasy in relationships or finances, this is your divine nudge that the universe is dismantling the old to make space for the new. The tension is just part of the awakening process. This conjunction forms a Yod (the “Finger of Fate”), with a Scorpio Moon as its apex, amplifying emotions and unearthing buried wounds (thanks to Chiron’s boomerang to the configuration). Lean into the discomfort. Ask: What outdated value, possession, or relationship dynamic am I finally ready to release? Support is available (sextiles to Saturn/Neptune remind us), but you must reach for it.

Venus Enters Gemini (Until July 30th): Social Butterflies Unite!

Then, Venus glides into Gemini (until July 30th), lightening the mood. Conversations spark, connections flourish, and curiosity becomes your compass. Gemini Venus thrives on intellectual chemistry—flirty banter, shared ideas, and exploring both sides of a story. Use this energy to network, learn, or revive a creative project. But remember: Gemini’s duality can scatter focus. Stay grounded by asking: How can I communicate my needs while staying open to others’ perspectives?

Neptune Stations Retrograde in Aries: Navigating through the Fog

Finally, Neptune stations retrograde in Aries—a first in our lifetimes—blurring the line between action and avoidance. Aries demands initiative, but retrograde Neptune in this sign can leave us feeling untethered, doubting our instincts, or escaping into procrastination. Confusion is likely, but so are profound intuitive downloads.  Surrender the need for perfect clarity. Instead, journal: Where am I numbing out? What ancient fear of “taking up space” is resurfacing? By October 22nd, when Neptune backtracks into Pisces, these lessons will crystallize as spiritual resilience.

Healing Opportunities & Actionable Steps

1. Liberation Breakthrough (Venus-Uranus Conjunction)

Healing Opportunity: Release stagnant values, relationships or financial patterns that no longer reflect your growth
Action Steps:

  • Write a “goodbye letter” to one outdated belief about love/money/self-worth
  • Physically rearrange one space in your home (breaks Taurus stagnation)
  • Initiate one uncomfortable but necessary conversation about needs

2. Social Reconnection (Venus in Gemini)

Healing Opportunity: Heal communication blocks and expand your supportive network
Action Steps:

  • Reach out to someone who inspires you with a voice note (not text)
  • Journal: “What truth have I been avoiding saying? Why?”
  • Share knowledge freely today (post, teach, discuss)

3. Intuitive Surrender (Neptune Retrograde)

Healing Opportunity: Transform confusion into spiritual clarity
Action Steps:

  • Morning ritual: Ask “What do I need to know today?” then pull one tarot/oracle card
  • When overwhelmed, say aloud: “I don’t need to see the whole path, just the next step”
  • Create a “boundary mantra” for energy protection (“I discern between intuition and fear”)

4. Emotional Alchemy (Scorpio Moon/Chiron)

Healing Opportunity: Process buried fears about vulnerability
Action Steps:

  • Write then burn: “What I’m afraid to feel is…”
  • Place a black tourmaline or obsidian stone in water under the moon
  • Practice receiving (ask for/accept one small act of help today)

Journal Prompts:
To work with the energy of the skies, use these journal prompts.

Shadow Work Tip: Writing about emotional wounds for 15+ minutes daily for 3-4 days has been shown to improve immune function and reduce stress hormones (Pennebaker studies). Your shadows want acknowledgement, not necessarily solutions. Here is the Article: Healing Through the Written Word – PMC

1. What ‘safe’ pattern have I outgrown that’s now feeling suffocating?
What childhood experience first taught me this was necessary?

2. When did I first learn that love/security = [fill in your toxic belief]?
How is this playing out in my current relationships or finances?

3. What emotion am I avoiding through distraction/busyness/escapism today?
If I let myself feel it fully for 5 minutes, what might it reveal?

4. What desire have I been afraid to voice because it would disrupt the status quo?
Who would I be if I stopped apologizing for this want?

5. What old betrayal or abandonment story still lives in my body?
Where do I continue this pattern by betraying myself first?

6. If my soul gave me one shocking but loving ‘truth bomb’ right now,
what would it be? (Hint: It’s probably what you’ve been avoiding.)

Building a New Dream Foundation Image by: Ralphs_Fotos

* Venus (Gemini) sextile Saturn (Aries)
* Venus (Gemini) sextile Neptune retro. (Aries)

Overview:
Fresh off her electrifying conjunction with Uranus, Venus in Gemini now dances into two harmonious sextiles—first with Saturn in Aries, then with Neptune Retrograde in Aries—offering a cosmic moment, for turning liberation into tangible magic.

With Venus sextile Saturn, the universe hands you a golden ticket: the courage to begin something new, backed by cosmic-level commitment. Saturn’s disciplined fire in Aries provides the structure Venus needs to ground her Gemini curiosity into real, lasting form. Think of it as divine reassurance—yes, you can pursue those fluttering ideas, and yes, the support will be there. If Friday’s Uranus shake-up left you feeling tender in your newfound freedom, Saturn’s here to steady your hands. Ask yourself: What’s one small, responsible step I can take today toward a dream I’ve been too afraid to own?

Then, as Venus sextiles Neptune Retrograde, the energy shifts from practical to poetic. This is inspiration in its purest form—a chance to see yourself and others with radical compassion, to dissolve old judgments, and to remember: perfection is not the price of belonging. But Neptune’s fog can also blur boundaries, so let Saturn be your anchor. Lean into the magic but keep one foot on the ground. Journal: Where am I idealizing instead of truly seeing? How can I honor both my dreams and my humanity?

Deep Thought: What’s one “flaw” you’re ready to accept today as part of your unique makeup? We’re all unlearning perfection together.

Healing Opportunities & Actionable Steps

1. Grounded Creation

(Venus sextile Saturn)
Healing Potential:

  • Transform Venus-Uranus liberation anxiety into structured action
  • Build self-trust by honoring commitments to yourself

Action Steps:
“Saturn Promise” List: Write 3 realistic steps toward a new creative or relational goal
Materialize a Dream: Buy the domain, schedule the class, or text that collaborator—one concrete action today
Boundary Reminder: When fearful, say: “Discomfort is not danger—I am supported in my growth”

2. Compassionate Clarity

(Venus sextile Neptune RX)
Healing Potential:

  • Release shame around “flaws” through radical acceptance
  • Distinguish divine inspiration from escapism

Action Steps:
Flaw Love Meditation: Hold hands over your heart and whisper: “This too belongs to my humanity”
Reality-Check Journaling: “Am I romanticizing ____? What’s one grounded fact about this situation?”
Artistic Surrender: Doodle/paint freely for 10 mins—no plan, just Neptune’s flow (notice where judgment arises)

3. Integrated Freedom

(Both Aspects Combined)
Healing Potential:

  • Balance Gemini’s curiosity with Saturn’s focus + Neptune’s faith

Action Steps:
“Both-And” Practice: Complete this sentence 3x: “I can both ____ (dreamy desire) AND ____ (practical step)” (example: I can both “Love foolishly” and “Maintain healthy boundaries.”)
Community Mirror: Post in a group: “What’s one ‘imperfect’ step you took toward a dream this week? “

Journal Prompts:
To work with the energy of the skies, use these journal prompts.

Shadow Work Tip: Neuroscience reveals that resisting emotional pain activates the same brain regions as physical pain (anterior cingulate cortex), while practicing radical acceptance reduces amygdala reactivity by up to 50% (Kross et al., 2011). Your brain literally rewards surrender. Here is the article to read more: Emotional and Physical Pain Activate Similar Brain Regions | Psychology Today

1. What dream have I been afraid to pursue because it feels ‘too big’ or ‘unrealistic’? How can Saturn’s structure (small steps) make it feel safer to claim?

2. What perceived ‘flaw’ do I judge most harshly in others? How might this reflect a disowned part of myself?

3. Where have I been over-giving to avoid sitting with my own unmet needs? What’s one boundary I can set today?

4. What commitment have I been avoiding because it scares me to succeed/fail? What’s the childhood story behind this fear?

5. What emotion am I trying to escape through fantasy, people-pleasing, or busyness? What would happen if I let myself feel it for 5 minutes?

6. How can I honor BOTH my spiritual longing (Neptune) AND earthly responsibilities (Saturn) without abandoning either?
